RAYMOND GOODE I am a director, author, playwright renowned world traveler, and motivational speaker. I started my business in 2010 by eschewing my home and job becoming homeless to pursue my passion and career. I started writing books which evolved into playwriting and directing the hit stage production “Through Their Eyes” which tours the country and offers healing through the ARTS! My most important factor is faith. Walking blindly and allowing the Lord to guide my footsteps. There have been days that I didn’t know which direction to turn towards and a sign has ALWAYS been revealed to me.
Living in Chicago has been a dream come true. It has opened the doors to so many talented people. Partnering with Hitusa has allowed me to do stage productions all around the city. My production offers healing thru the ARTS and not only for the audience but for the performers as well. Everyone experiences trauma and they come to my production to release and heal. Working with the great people and artistry of Chicago has opened my eyes to new side of the world that outsiders only read about. My book ‘How to Write and Print under $300’ has not only given people the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of becoming authors but it’s also allowed them to become business owners and open their own publishing companies allowing for extra income.
