ou’ve spent months meticulously planning the perfect wedding. You’ve found the dress that makes you feel like a princess. The flowers you’ve dreamed of will transform the room into something straight out of a magazine. The cake will be the most beautiful centerpiece at your reception. And all your family and friends will be there to help you celebrate the love that you two share. Now you’re ready to hire a photographer who will create gorgeous portraits that perfectly tell your wedding story so you can always look back and remember all the fun and joy that surrounded your special day. [YOUR STUDIO] Weddings are designed to do just that. We’ll capture all the beauty and authentic emotions of the day in a way that feels natural, comfortable, and fun. We’ll create stunning “traditional” wedding photos as well as document the candid connections that happen between you and all your loved ones. We offer a full-service photography experience which means you can count on us to be with you from the very beginning of your wedding season all the way to the end. We’ll work closely with you to plan your pre-wedding photo sessions as well as your wedding day photography timeline. We’ll also provide you with our best tips and advice on how to prepare for your photo sessions so you’ll look and feel your very best. And a few weeks after your wedding, we’ll schedule a private consultation where we’ll share the photo proofs with you and help you select the most meaningful keepsakes to display your photos in your home. Our overall mission is to help you relax and always be in the moment while we create beautiful images of this most special time in your life.

The ENGAGEMENT Session
O
nce you’ve officially booked your wedding with us, it’s time to schedule your engagement session. This fun and relaxed session is what allows us to capture so many gorgeous portraits of you on your wedding day. How? We take this time to show you how we work and teach you the core poses we use that allow us to capture you in a way that feels natural instead of awkward and strange. Don’t worry if you don’t know what to do because we will gently guide you through the whole session. It’s also a chance for us to really get to know you and what makes you comfortable during photo shoots. We’ll take the time to talk with you and find out what you typically like and don’t like in your photos so we can make sure to be mindful of those things during your session and eventually on your wedding day. And if you don’t already have a location for this session in mind, we’ll help you find one that perfectly fits your personalities and the vision you have for how your engagement photos will look.

hen the day you’ve been dreaming of has finally arrived, we want you to feel relaxed and be in the moment so you can enjoy this time with your family and friends.
You won’t need to worry about making sure photos that are important to you are happening because we’ve already taken the time to sit down with you and plan the perfect photography timeline for your day. This timeline will be flexible enough to allow for extra time where needed, so you won’t ever feel rushed or stressed if something unexpected comes up. We also know how important it is for us to capture the candid moments that happen between you and everyone who has gathered to help you celebrate. We’ll be watching for fun and sweet moments (even if you weren’t there to see them first-hand) and include them in your wedding story. Ultimately, we want you to have the most gorgeous portraits that preserve your wedding day memories in the most tangible way.

After the WEDDING
A
fter the wedding, we’ll get busy sorting through all the photos we took that day and begin the process of selecting and editing the best ones. The final collection will include both traditional photos and candid photos. This is always an exciting part of the whole wedding experience because you’ll get to see special interactions between your loved ones that you weren’t aware of when they happened. When we’re finished, we’ll schedule a private consultation where we’ll share the final collection with you. We’ll also help you choose meaningful keepsakes and heirloom-quality products so you can display your beautiful photos around your home.

WHAT’S YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?
Our goal is to capture authentic moments and emotions without making them feel awkward and staged, so most of the time you won’t even know we’re there. There will also be times when we’ll need to gently direct the group so we can accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule, but it will always be done respectfully and in a way that helps keep everyone feeling relaxed and unstressed.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes, we love to travel! If your wedding requires an overnight stay or out-of-state travel, we’ll work with you to find the best arrangements possible to help keep costs down.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK WITH YOU?
We recommend booking your wedding at least 6-12 months in advance, if possible. Keep in mind that certain times of the year fill up faster than others and that weekends are always popular.
WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT AND IS IT REFUNDABLE?
The deposit is $500 and is fully refundable for 14 days.
HOW SOON WILL THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION BE SCHEDULED?
We typically like to schedule engagement sessions to happen about two months ahead of your wedding, but if you would like them sooner, we’re happy to do it.
WHEN WILL WE PLAN THE WEDDING DAY TIMELINE?
About 6 weeks before your wedding, we’ll get together to plan a custom timeline for your day. This timeline will begin with detail shots early in the day (scenery, dresses, jewelry, etc.) and will include all the formals, the ceremony, and the reception.
HOW SOON WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
About 6 weeks after your wedding, we’ll schedule a private consultation where we’ll share the photos with you.
