WHY PURCHASE PROFESSIONAL PRINTS?
I hear this question all the time. Why should I pay more for professional prints when I can get the printed at Walmart or Shutterfly for as low as $.49? Why not just a CD of all of my pictures so I can print them cheaply?
You’ve paid for professional photography for a reason. Have them printed on professional paper and you will be thrilled with the results!!!
Legally, professional prints are copyright protected. You may purchase a digital file with a copyright waiver, (AFTER you purchase the minumum amount of professional prints), then have them printed where ever you please, although I take no responsibility for the quality OR the life of printed products produced by vendors other than the professional ones that I work with directly. Department stores and mass printers are pretty common, so they are fairly convenient to get to. Department stores are usually limited to prints that are 8x10 or smaller. They are decent enough for vacation pictures and school projects. However, I find the quality to suffer. The colors are flat, you’re forced to buy glossy paper, the kid behind the counter doesn’t always know what they are doing. In some cases I’ve seen the focus on the picture get soft and in other cases it was artificially sharpened. Even worse, the color is not always calibrated and your pictures have too much yellow or green to them. Professional labs have a vested interest in keeping their professional customers happy. They are going to make sure their machines are properly calibrated and color balanced. You can choose several different paper finishes from matte to metallic and many in between. If you’re printing a bunch of vacation photos for scrapbooking go for convenience and cheap! But if you’re having your newborn or senior’s professional portrait printed to be enjoyed for future generations, leave it to the professionals :)

Custom cards are perfect for graduation, rosters, holidays and birth announcements! All cards are two-sided and are printed on thick professional satin, linen or pearl cardstock. Cards may be customized with photos from your shoot as well as custom wording and design elements (yes, mine tend to run less expensive compared to the school!) TRADITIONAL CARDS 5x7 24 for $75 or 48 for $125 or 75 for $200 additional cards available for $2 per card. Cards come in a pack of 24 (minimum) and then in increments of 4.
