The Class of 2020 included fourteen honors students who completed a Senior Capstone Project in their area of Concentration. Topics ranged from statistics in baseball to the history of famous ballads through the years. Some students completed an intensive research paper, others included a project component like a senior recital or an awareness campaign. AMELIA GREEN and MARCUS GOMEZ both completed their capstone project in STEM.
MARCUS GOMEZ Marcus chose to research the widely debated topic of vaccines under the mentorship of his dad, who is a doctor. Marcus plans to attend the University of Arizona Honors College to pursue a career in medicine.
