Steamfitter/Pipefitter (BTJ)

ECA is a certified Building Performance Institute Testing Center and is an accredited Lead Training Center for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The scope of the MESS encompasses service and maintenance of commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and heating equipment and similar systems. Electric, gas & oil fired, hydronic and forced air equipment, associated combustion controls, and temperature/humidity controls are included. Building automation equipment service is also included.

ECA provides stipends to trainees when possible, based on the terms of the funder of each training program.

Five hands-on training labs in Energy Auditing, Commercial and Residential HVAC, Heat Pumps, Gas Line Mechanic, and Green Construction and Renovation.

English Composition, Math, Science, Four

2021 Hourly Wages

Apprentices start at a percentage of the current Journeymen hourly wage rate and receive rate increases each year
