ACCESSORIES With Certificate of Origin dated 28 January 2016, product literature, hang tag, setting pin, slip case, leather wallet, outer packaging and fitted presentation box Making a splash at Baselworld in 2015, Patek Philippe’s Calatrava Pilot Travel Time reference 5524G was met with mixed reactions from the collectors community, although the long waitlists that were soon established at authorised retailers made it clear the model was to be a huge success. Harking back to Patek Philippe’s first pilot watches made in the 1930s, when a few prototypes were produced with hour angle displays that made immense prices at auction, the new watch proved extremely wearable due to its case dimensions and its practical application of complications. Features two hour hands, blue for the local time and skeletonized white to indicate home time, the dial of the reference 5524 also includes a local and home day and night indicator, as well as oversized applied luminous numerals to make the time legible at night. Preserved exactly as it left the manufacture three years ago, the watch remains double factory sealed, and comes complete with its certificate of origin, box, and accessories.
