The classic Pasha watch was frst introduced in 1932 at the request of the Sultan of Marrakech named Pasha. It is the frst waterproof timepiece from Cartier to keep up with the ruler’s active lifestyle, not only could it be worn for daily swims, but is also elegant enough for royal duties. Cartier also has had a long history of creating iconic animal-themed jewellery and watches for royalty and celebrities. One of the most famous of all animal motifs – and a lasting symbol of the house of Cartier — is the panther.
