stay connected... music, day trips, and private charters in the U.S. Virgin Islands. And as if that weren’t enough of a dream job, Emily also teaches scuba diving and underwater photography on the side. Over on the West Coast, Lily Kelly enjoyed some time off during the holidays in San Francisco, including attending a New Year’s Eve concert by the Decembrists with her husband, Dan Adamsky ’06. Sarah Wendell moved to San Francisco to work at the John Berggruen Gallery and has had lots of fun running into former Addison directors Jock Reynolds ’65 (now at Yale) and Adam Weinberg (now at the Whitney Museum of American Art). Additionally, Sarah regularly sees Adam Draper, who continues to enjoy fatherhood and running Boost VC. Lolita Munos Taub is a founding member and VP of sales for Glassbreakers, the only womenowned, women-led diversity and inclusion enterprise software startup in Silicon Valley. The goal is 50-50 male-female leadership boards across all businesses. On the personal front, Lolita celebrated two years of marriage and adopted a rescue dog named Choco. Jenny Wong Sharp will soon join the rest of us here in California. She will move to Menlo Park when her husband, Nathan, begins a job with Facebook. And I’m enjoying the rare rainy season we’re having in LA, which is a great excuse to write or not write, depending on my mood. Over the holidays, I met my baby nephew, Clark, who is adorable and perfect and will never do anything wrong. Then I spent time with Olivia Oran Beaton in NYC and gazed longingly at the Instagram accounts of Emma Sussex and Ellen Knuti, who traveled in Japan with their boyfriends. Wishing everyone another great year!

News of happenings in our class came from far and wide this season. Meta Weiss reported in from Australia, where she recently took up the post of senior lecturer in cello at the Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane. Meta plans to marry a fellow cellist, David Requiro, this July. Meta and David met when they were in, respectively, sixth and eighth grades but did not begin dating until college. The two just released their first duo cello album, A Dué Celli, under the apt group name of the Weiss-Requiro Duo. Jesse Seegers wrote in from New York, where he is serving as an editor at Columbia University’s school of architecture, teaching graphic design at NYU, writing about art and architecture for magazines, and building inflatable architecture pavilions for parties in the city. Matt Brennan went to New York in September to visit Jesse and his wife, Elena, before attending

In October, Matt joined Indiewire’s Thompson on Hollywood blog as a full-time staff writer and TV critic. Matt had dinner with Chris Zegel and Meg Scarborough when he was in the Boston area for Christmas, and Jay Geary and his girlfriend, Tessa, dropped by Matt’s “New Year’s Eve rager” in New Orleans. Patrick Jiang commenced a PhD degree program in Hong Kong in the fall. He and Stephanie Chan played squash together a few times this past January. Carina Serreze reported in from a sailboat off the coast of Thailand. She is carrying on with an MBA/MPH program at UC Berkeley’s Haas School and would welcome any ’05ers who happen to be passing through. Kelly Stecker, Cara Ruccolo, John Tincoff, Henry Manice, Peter Accomando, James Boumil, Wes Howe, James Paolino, Elliot Feng, Chris Donais, and a few other members of our class got together in Boston this past fall. Anthony Green wrote an article about his SAT prep company for news site Vox. He reports— in more colorful terms than those employed herein—that business is going extremely well. Ian Schmertzler and brother Ethan Schmertzler ’07 spent the last few weeks of the year launching a product line for their firm, Dispel.io. In December, Nate Scott, Stephen Sherrill, Christian Vareika, Kyle Kucharski, Matt Brennan, Nate Kellogg, Meg Coffin ’03, Alex Lebow, Vic Miller, Katharine Matsumoto ’07, Steven Rolecek, and David Wilkinson attended Ben Hoerner’s wedding to Jessica Roberts in Kansas City, Mo. Following the wedding, the couple adopted another elderly bulldog, which they say bites far less than the one they brought to the 10th Reunion.

It was great to connect with everyone recently, and we hope you’re all feverishly anticipating our upcoming 10th Reunion! We are in the process of planning a fabulous weekend, so we really hope you all can join us there. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions. Emily Pollokoff’s two daughters, Hazel and Clara, are rapidly growing (as kids tend to!). Hazel, the oldest, is well on her way to reading, and Clara is as curious as ever. In addition to raising her beautiful girls, Emily is very busy planning next year’s garden (more arugula and less kale), a homeschool co-op group, and a new business venture! In summer 2015, Andrea Coravos completed Dev Bootcamp, which is a full-stack software engineering education program. She is interested in becoming a Web developer. Justin Yi visited with Andrea in the San Francisco Bay Area while she was at Dev Bootcamp. Mia Kanak and Jeni Lee caught up with Andrea for wine and cookies in December while Jeni was visiting Boston for job interviews post-graduation (she recently completed a PhD degree in biomedical engineering at UC Davis).
