Anastasia “Tess” Scott married Choate graduate Derek Davidson this past August in Kennebunkport, Maine. Haley Scott ’11 was her maid of honor, and Whitney Dublin, Jevan Jammal, and Dariana Colon-Bibb were bridesmaids. Sam Hall, Ben Weiner, and Julie Wadland also were in attendance. Congratulations, Tess and Derek! Mike McMahon and Yurie Sekigami got married this past September at Cochran Chapel at Andover and held their reception at the Lanam Club in Andover. Mike writes: “It was really special for us to be able to have the ceremony on the Andover campus and in the chapel where Yurie spent four years of her life singing in Fidelio and the choir. I also spent a good deal of time there, waiting outside the door for her practices to be over so I could walk her home at night. All of my family was able to join, and most of Yurie’s family made the long journey from Japan to be with us!” Also joining the festivities were Danny Clark (Mike’s best man), Christa Vardaro (one of Yurie’s bridesmaids), Tony Christiano, Mike Monaco, Eunice Hong, Cornelia Wolcott, and Japanese instructor Teruyo Shimazu. Warm congratulations to Mike and Yurie! Jen Wang got married Sept. 6, 2015, in Danvers, Mass., and celebrated with Kate Therkelsen, Becca Howe, Felicity Bloom, Sarah Gershkon, Andrew Yoon, and Matt Kahn. Kate was a bridesmaid. Jen writes, “It was wonderful to see everyone for a mini reunion!” Jen is a patent attorney working at Wolf Greenfield, an intellectual-property law firm in Boston. First, let’s start off with a huge congratulations to the entire class. As a whole, 2007 had great participation in the Andover-Exeter Challenge, finishing in second place with 166 gifts! Well done, and let’s try to beat that number next year. Another round of congratulations is in order for Sarah Guo and Billy Draper, who were named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 List, in the venture capital category. Although there were three other alums who made the list, ours was the only class with multiple honorees.
