Philbrook announces

the 27th Annual Festival of Trees. Last year alone, nearly 20,000 people visited Philbrook during the three-week festival. This Tulsa tradition holds an important role within our city and brings many benefits to Philbrook. Your support of Philbrook’s most popular public event enables Garden Glow, which drew over 3,000 people in 2010, to open to the public at no cost. The proceeds from Festival of Trees also enable Philbrook to serve a diverse population in Tulsa 2011continuing free public programs through such as “My Museum,” “2nd Saturday,” among other Philbrook programs.

Philbrook gardens will illuminate each Thursday in December from 5 pm – 8 pm. As always, admission is free to members and $11 for guests.

The TreeView Party officially opens the holidays at Philbrook with drinks, cocktail buffet, fun and holiday lights in the gardens. Meet the participating artists and designers as you view their creations. Purchase unique trees, holiday items, and gingerbread houses for your home, office, or as a special gift.

Philbrook’s annual holiday gift to members features musical performances, holiday treats, and photos with Santa; plus the opportunity to view and buy oneof-a-kind trees, gingerbread houses, and holiday creations by area artists. Entertainment Schedule: 9 am Tulsa Children’s Chorus 10 am All Souls Unitarian Church Youth and Children’s Choir 11 am Barthelmes Conservatory Young Musicians

Saturday, Dec. 3, 9:30 am – Noon

A classic holiday comes to life with Philbrook during the annual Children’s Party. Activities include Santa meet-n-greet with complimentary photo, holiday crafts led by the Philbrook education team, traditional holiday storytelling, as well time to visit the Philbrook Festival of Trees and other museum exhibits. Limited to 150 children, so make your family’s reservations early.

Sunday, Dec. 4, 4:30 – 8 pm

This member favorite begins with champagne at Philbrook before travelling by bus to four gorgeous Tulsa homes featuring gourmet delights from top local chefs. Limited to 100 guests, so make your reservation early.

Garden Glow

Garden Glow is the official public opening of the holiday season at Philbrook. This newest addition to Philbrook’s family traditions includes carolers, crafts, and the famous Philbrook gardens glowing for the season.

Santa Claus will be available for photos at the following times:
