Chicken Wings with Oyster Sauce Ingredients: âžœ 1 pound chicken wings, about 12 âžœ 1 tablespoon soy sauce âžœ 1 scallion cut into 6 pieces âžœ 6 slices of ginger âžœ Vegetable oil for frying âžœ 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce âžœ 1/4 teaspoon salt âžœ 1 tablespoon sugar âžœ 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper âžœ 1 cup of water âžœ 1 1/2 teaspoon corn starch âžœ 1 tablespoon cold water Directions: Clean the chicken wings. Let them dry. Toss with 1 tablespoon soy sauce to coat. Heat wok or large skillet, add oil and get it hot enough to fry. Deep fry wings until golden brown. Remove the wings and set aside. Discard oil from wok. Reheat the wok and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Stir fry the scallions and ginger until fragrant, then add chicken wings, oyster sauce, salt, sugar, black pepper and cup of water. Cover with a lid and cook about 5 minutes or until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Make a slurry of the cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of cold water in a small cup. Add to wok, stir until thickened. âœť
