Interior Finishes

Final Touches

As your architectural set is being finalized, we begin the interior selections. This includes flooring, tile, stair & fireplace design, plumbing fixtures and millwork options such as interior doors and trim work. We also make sure to review and include the interior architectural elements you envision in your home such as beams in the living room or tray ceilings in the bedrooms.

By this time most of your selections should be finalized, however there is time to add final touches that do not affect the structure or architectural plans such as changes to material colors. Often we also use this time to finalize lighting selections and low volt options to help break up the selection process.

During this phase we focus on selecting items that have long lead times and/or need to be considered for the architectural development of your plans. You'll work with our designers to select appliances, indoor/outdoor fireplaces and/or outdoor kitchen equipment, and exterior materials. We will also discuss any desired structural elements such as zeroentry options, plumbing mounts, floor outlets and architectural features.

18 MONTH WARRANTY Our warranty coverage is based on the NAHB Residential Construction Performance Guidelines, which lays the foundation for performance expectations in goods and services beyond building codes and local regulations to ensure quality workmanship. We strive to exceed these regulations and guidelines through strict quality control measures and through the use of exceptional quality trades. We also conduct check-ins with you at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months to address any concerns. You are also welcome to reach out to us at any time after your home is completed. Even if it is outside of the warranty window, we can still offer recommendations and help guide you.

JOB SITE SAFETY Job Sites should always be considered a potentially hazardous location. Due to many factors, seen and unseen, there is a possibility of injury or death. To minimize the chance of injury, we have a few ground rules that we insist everyone follow and have also listed a few items to be aware of. 1. Contact the project manager or superintendent prior to any site visit. The superintendent is most aware of daily conditions and what areas can be accessed. Do not visit the site without being accompanied by the superintendent. We advise you, friends or family to not visit the site "off hours". 2. Wear appropriate attire such as closed-toe footwear, eye protection and a hardhat. Loose fitted clothing is not advised. 3. Do not use any of the construction equipment such as ladders, scaffolding or tools. 4. Beware of hazardous materials, electrical cords & wiring, and equipment being used such as nail guns and jackhammers as these tools can project debris. 5. Heavy equipment (loaders, trucks, backhoes, forklifts, cranes, etc.) cannot always see you. This can have deadly consequences. 6. Do not move or touch any materials on site. 7. If a door is closed, do not open it without verifying with the superintendent what is on the other side. 8. If you are injured, seek immediate medical attention. All injuries must be reported to Marty Brinegar 719-243-1952 2023
