You may also want to consider incorporating friends, family and children into the ceremony. One way to do this is to invite your guests to share their blessings vocally during the ceremony or you could create a blessings basket so guests can write words of good will. In the end, you’ll have a basket filled with blessings of love from family and friends. Your guests will feel important in doing so as well. Whatever you decide, though, it will be important to find an officiant who is in line with your own religious or spiritual beliefs and personal style.

PHOTOGRAPHY The photographs of your wedding will last long after the ceremony is over. That said, it is one area where you should try not to cut corners. It might be tempting to hire your friend who takes “really good pictures” but hiring a professional will likely have a better outcome (and it will give your friend a chance to enjoy the wedding).
