According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Washington posted the nation’s biggest gain in nonfarm jobs, 3.5%, between October 2015 and October 2016. Recent census data also shows the median household incomes in Seattle topped $80,000, a nearly $10,000 jump in one year, the biggest leap among large U.S. cities.
As Seattle’s economy has blossomed, our Florera investment has benefitted from the population growth, increasing wages and higher rental rates. We plan to continue to follow Seattle’s yellow-brick-road and make future investments in the city in 2017.
