Dr. Phil Wingeier-Rayo (Religion) has published a book titled Where are the Poor?, Wipf & Stock; and “Teaching Latinamente” in Spotlight on Teaching, Oct. 2011. Graduate Faculty Dr. Faith Drew (Marriage and Family Therapy) presented a research poster at the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Annual Conference, Sept. 2011, which represented qualitative research conducted on how marriage and family therapists experience creativity in the therapy room. Dr. Bradford Frazier ’93, ’04 MBA (MBA) published “Nontraditional Adult Master’s Degree Students and Their Choice of Program of Study” in the peer-reviewed Academy of Educational Leadership Journal. He made a presentation with the same title in April at the Allied Academies Spring International Conference in Orlando, Fla. In Oct., he presented “The Impact of Career and Personal ‘Life Triggers’ on Adult Graduate Students” at the same organization’s fall conference in Las Vegas, for which he also served as a session chair. Dr. Susan Luck (MBA) presented “Please, Dr. Luck, Just Let me Fail this Paper and Get on with My Life!” at the International Conference for the Association for Business Communication in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Oct. 2011. Dr. Luck’s proposal for this conference was selected as one of the Top Ten Best Practices in teaching among the North American division of the Association, which includes the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
