One night, a young woman turns up on the steps of the palace, wet through from a huge storm. The Queen takes one look at her and does not believe she is a real Princess, so she sets the young woman a test. 29 AUGUST WINCHCOMBE COUNTRY SHOW

Each year, the show opens with a procession through the town, which includes vintage tractors and classic cars. The procession begins on Back Lane at 12.30 and arrives at the showground at 1pm. The show is an annual celebration of local talent, charities, businesses and groups and each year we donate our profits to support local good causes.
