He/she is required to have a university degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in same industry. Marine bunker sales and marketing experience preferred – particularly with Med and M/E based customers. Experience of ARA market would be an advantage. The Broker will be responsible for the fuel broking, resale and delivery for the marine segment. This position will oversee the development of new customer accounts and penetrating further business with existing customers. Candidate will be Western Bulk’s point person in the oil derivatives market, advise business units on fuel oil hedging and execute hedges according to agreed strategies. He/she will help to plan, optimise and perform the procurement of bunkers for WB’s fleet, develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential suppliers and brokers and work to ensure that Western Bulk’s annual bunker bill is as low as possible.
