Manoir Industries & Kartik Steels Ltd: expanding services to its customers Kartik Steels is a fully owned subsidiary of Manoir Industries since 2010. Manoir Industries, an international company, is a designer and manufacturer of high quality metal components and assemblies for the aerospace, petrochemical, oil & gas, nuclear, energy, steel and defence industries. Kartik Steels established in 1980 by a proven record engineering excellence team launched a foundy in Sipcot Ranipet, South East of India for petrochemical and refinery markets. It has a full-fledged infrastructural set-up. The plant has recently undergone an expansion and also modernization with Manoir Industries standards: a new resin sand foundry is implemented as well as new machining, lab and radiography departments.
A one Manoir product offer Kartik Steels stand to serve a significant cross-section of the Indian Engineering Industry, specializing in critical components and has developed and supplied sight doors to leading clients as Toyo Engineering, Essar Oil, Technip KT, Heurtey Petroleum Equipment, Larsen & Toubro... Kartik is becoming the tube sheet specialist for the petrochemical industry.
Tube support castings for refineries, petrochemicals & fertilizers We specialize in tube support castings to various Heat Resist specifications, up to a single piece wt range of 2.5 MT. We have established the data sheets for these specifications which can be furnished against request. We could also provide the past track record for the supply of these castings.
High quality well-known by customers Kartik has facilities of 3000KGs, 1500KGs, 2 X 250 KGs and 150KGs crucibles and with various handling facilities such as 10, 4 and 3MT over-head cranes of capacities. Processes are performed on site: Inductotherm make 750KW, medium frequency, coreless induction melting furnace 3t capacity with additional crucible for 1.5 t with provision for dual track n Pillar with medium frequency coreless induction furnace with 3 crucibles n 6000 kg capacity crane weighing machine digital type to weigh liquid metal n Immersion pyrometer with recorders for temperature measurement n Moulding machines with new sand mixer and sand reclamation n Vertical centricast machine n Welding machines with gouging facility n High capacity compressors n 320 KVA Genset n Hydraulic testing n CNC machining center n
The development of special alloy castings such as steel, steel alloy and super alloy castings for the refinery application are part of an import substitution effort by Kartik. This has given the company, a national significance and has, in the process, earned the approbation of prestigious clients. It is now getting integrated with Manoir Industries quality Kartik is also approved by Indian Boiler Board as ‘’Well-know’’ foundry and hence are the authorized suppliers of castings for all boiler applications.
