Born in Greece, he moved to the United States with his parents in 1967 and spent much of his childhood in Gary, Indiana. In his early twenties, he moved with his uncle to New York where he would work as a plumber and eventually establish his own operation. Pete counts among his greatest successes leaving a solid legacy for his children.
