Safety is primordial. This  applies  both  to the cameraman and the personnel he is filming:  l

his  personal  behaviour,  his  assimilation  of potential  dangers,  his  awareness  of  safety procedures and warnings... ensuring  that  the  images  clearly  reflect  the regulations  in  vigour  for  the  working  zone: helmets,  gloves,  safety  glasses,  special procedures, hot operations, etc.

MULTI-LINGUAL Language ability is a useful supplement with 6 European languages and a couple of Asian languages, to different degrees of proficiency.  Even though English is the major language of the oil industry, communicating with local clients or personnel in their own language breaks down barriers and helps create stronger working relations.


Offshore Survival Course Peter Livermore has completed offshore survival courses in France and Brazil. He is presently holder of a valid offshore survival certificate (May 2006).
