HOW DID YOU GET INTO PEST CONTROL?

After working with the general public for so long day in day out I was ready to give rats and cockroaches a go as a more pleasant option.

Passionate, Hardworking, Empath.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT PEST CONTROL?

I love that every day is so different. I also love the learning as it's all completely new to me. I love the exercise and being in the outdoors. I don't like killing things much but being a control freak I can handle keeping things under control. This part works for me.

HOW DID YOU TWO GIRLS GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER?

Definitely over some loud music played live by Nikki’s fiancé who’s my very old friend and now boss Mike and many cheeky cold savs. We soon worked out that we have many similarities and a lot in common.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PEST PEEVE?

Snails in the Rodent Stations or Rat Cafes as I call them.

WHO INSPIRES YOU? AND WHY?

I'm always inspired by people who are physically enabled and who don't let that stop them doing anything they want to do.

WHAT SCRAMBLES YOUR BRAIN EVERY TIME YOU THINK ABOUT IT?

How were those bloody pyramids built!!!!!!

WHAT ARE YOU MOST DETERMINED TO ACCOMPLISH?

To get my qualification in Pest Control.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE WAY TO SPEND A DAY OFF?

To relax somewhere in the warmth, whether that be the pub or the beach or somewhere in nature. Fishing ideally. Oh God killing more stuff!

HAVE YOU EVER READ A BOOK THAT CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

I think all books change your life to some degree. Take a wee bit out of everything. Learn something or remember something. A new way of thinking perhaps.

IF YOU ENDED UP IN JAIL, WHAT WOULD YOU FRIENDS AND FAMILY THINK YOU DID?

Probably doing something like commandeering a ship. Something Pirate. Either that or standing up for the Under Dog and getting into trouble for it.

IF YOUR LIFE WERE A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE MOVIE BE CALLED?

Not Over Yet.

WHAT EMBARRASSING MOMENT HAS STUCK WITH YOU OVER THE YEARS?

Nothing I want to talk about.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR BIGGEST FEARS?

Death yep that’s a big one. Fear of the unknown.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS?

Not sure but as long as I'm happy I'm not bothered.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF AND WHY?

I'm proud of never giving up and working through every situation no matter how hard because life can certainly throw you some curve balls and has done. IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOURSELF, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

To be a little less trusting of people perhaps.

WHAT'S ONE OF THE MOST FUN CHILDHOOD MEMORIES YOU HAVE?

Spending time on my Uncles Farm and doing all fun farm stuff. Milking the cows.

WHO IS YOUR CELEBRITY CRUSH?

Bruce Willis in the Die Hard Films.

WHAT'S THE WILDEST THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE?

Been to Egypt Twice, that was pretty wild. Both times.

Drink too much.

I'm not really particularly tied to any one product that I couldn't live without.

Gosh what wouldn't you do!!! Go and freak the shit out of people most likely.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEW FEMALE TECHNICIAN COMING INTO THE PEST INDUSTRY?

Be ready for just about anything.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FUNNY OR SECRET TALENTS YOU'D BE WILLING TO SHARE?

I can attract weirdos, if there's one in the vicinity, they are heading my way.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR TEENAGE SELF?

I'd let her know that things don't always work out the way you envision but that's ok just make the best of everything and be grateful.
