I am Professor Carol Dimopoulos, adjunct business faculty and Vice President of Perillo Tours Learning Journeys. With over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, I have had the honor to facilitate learning journeys for schools, universities and affinity groups.

I am Steve Perillo, composer and President/CEO of historic Perillo Tours. I studied composition with Pulitzer Prize winning composer David Del Tredici at the Boston School of Music. My works have been performed on National Public Radio and in concerts by the ARS Musica Chorale, the Wilmington (DE) Symphony and in Moscow by the Novoye Trio. I have had the great fortune to combine my music and academic life with global travel. Travel has enriched my learning and helped me to pursue my dreams. I created Perillo Tours Learning Journeys so learners of all ages can experience the richness and diversity of Italy and beyond, while applying their learning through hands-on experiences such as classes and cultural exchanges.

I am a faculty member who is committed to quality educational experiences. I know that travel changes lives! I decided to focus on the travel needs of the educational community by joining the Perillo Tours team to create Perillo Tours Learning Journeys. DAY 3 - ROME This morning enjoy an interactive Italian language lesson. After our lesson, practice your communication skills as we enjoy a half- day guided walking tour to the Renaissance and Baroque squares of Rome which include Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza St. Ignazio, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps). In the evening, we will enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. DAY 4 - ROME - VATICAN TOUR In the morning, you will visit the Vatican and the Vatican Museum. This afternoon, visit a town located in the Roman Hills, Castelli Romani. This evening, you will enjoy a concert in one of the beautiful squares or in a church in the town center. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 5 - ROME – ASSISI – FLORENCE - TUSCAN VILLA Guided tour of Assisi. Learn about the history of this beautiful Umbrian city. Continue to Florence area. Guided tour of Florence upon arrival, including entrance to the Accademia to see the statue of “The David.” Overnight and dinner at villa in the Florence area. DAY 6 - TUSCANY Departure for SANT’ANTIMO (South of Montalcino). You will have a rare opportunity to listen to the monks sing and the option to perform a few songs with the monks. The Abbazia is very famous for a genuine GREGORIAN CHANT, no music-only the human voice. It is known as the singing stone for its particular travertine marble that its nave is built in. Then a visit to Montalcino and guided tour of San

Stay at a Tuscan Villa which dates back to the 12th century. Learning includes two exclusive drawing and painting “en plein air” classes. In the warm weather months, course takes place outside, in the heart of Florence and Rome. DAY 1 - USA-ITALY Depart from the U.S., beginning an unforgettable Journey to Italy!! DAY 2 - ROME-ORVIETOFLORENCE AREA Upon arrival in Rome you will be greeted by your Perillo Tours Educational Tour Manager. Enroute to Florence you will stop in Orvieto. Free time for lunch. Visit the Duomo, Orvieto’s most striking sight. The magnificent façade was erected according to Maitani’s project. The rose window is the work of the Florentine artist Andrea Orcagna. In the interior are the Cappella Nova, frescoed by Luca Signorelli and the Cappella del Corporale. Arrive in Florence 6

area. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at a Tuscan Villa. DAY 3 - FLORENCE After breakfast we depart for Florence. Our full day tour starts with a walk through the city center with an introduction to highlights such as the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore with its golden globe, St. John’s Baptistery with Ghiberti’s famous bronze doors, the old city hall called Palazzo Vecchio, and the jeweler’s bridge of Ponte Vecchio. Then a visit to the Uffizi Gallery. Uffizi Gallery is home to numerous famous artworks such as the Primavera by Botticelli, the Birth of Venus, The Annunciation by Leonardo da Vinci and more works by Michelangelo, Ruben’s and Titian. The Uffizi Gallery was designed by Giorgio Vasari around 1560 and is rectangular in shape; beginning at the Signoria Palace and stretching to the Arno River. Inside the Uffizi Gallery, visit the Botticelli Rooms (The Birth of Venus, Pallas and the Centaur, Allegory of Spring, the Annunciation, Madonna of the Pomegranate, Adoration of the Magi and other works by Sandro Botticelli), The Leonardo Room (Annunciation of

the Magi, Adoration of the Magi and other works by Leonardo da Vinci as well as other works by Perugino and Luca Signorelli). Visit the Academia Gallery, to see Michelangelo’s statuary masterpiece “The David,” and Botticelli’s Madonna and Child. Overnight at Villa. DAY 4 - FLORENCE - ART CLASSES “EN PLEIN AIR” Breakfast at the Villa and transfer to Florence. Exclusive experience: Drawing and painting “en plein air.” In the warm weather months, the course takes place outside, in the heart of Florence. During the winter months, classes are held indoors at a school. Students will draw and paint in front of the ancient town hall, the Palazzo Vecchio, or on the unique “old bridge,” the Ponte Vecchio. Before we return to the Villa, we will stop outside Florence and explore the Piazzale Michelangelo. Offering a splendid panoramic tour of the city’s domes and tower, this is a great location to see some of the local


remains of magnificent temples, basilicas and triumphal arches that once formed the heart of the Empire. In the afternoon, a walking tour of Rome including the Trevi Fountain, where it is tradition to toss a coin into the fountain to ensure a safe return to the Eternal City.

Visit the beautiful areas of Piazza del Duomo where the wonderful Leaning Tower is located. We continue on to Lucca. Visit San Martino, Lucca’s magnificent cathedral and admire the green and white marble façade as well as the Romanesque and Gothic interior. Spend time in San Michele in Foro - a beautiful church with a rich mixture of twisted marble columns and mosaics on the Pisa Romanesque façade. Return to the villa for dinner and overnight. DAY 6 - TUSCANY - ASSISI - ROME Today we visit Assisi, the quaint hilltop home of St. Francis and St. Clare, city of birds and silence. You have a walking tour of Assisi and Santa Maria Degli Angeli in the valley. Arrive in Rome for dinner at a local restaurant and overnight. DAY 7 - ROME Enjoy a special guided tour through the spectacular remains of the Roman Empire. Visit the Coliseum, considered to be the great symbol of Ancient Rome’s power and glory. Continue to the Arch of Constantine and to the Roman Forum, which features the

Enroute to Sorrento, we visit historic Pompeii to tour the archaeological excavations. After the tour, the group will enjoy a true delicacy for lunch – Neapolitan Pizza with buffalo mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. This evening, the group will perform at the Shrine of Pompeii. Dinner and overnight in Sorrento.


DAY 7 - NAPLES After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a full day guided tour of Naples. Visit the The Music Conservatory of Naples, a music institution located in the complex of San Pietro a Majella. The conservatory and adjacent church are part of the old San Pietro, a Majella monastic complex, built at the end of the 13th century and dedicated to the monk Pietro da Morone. The conservatory houses an impressive library of manuscripts pertaining to the lives and musical production of composers who lived and worked in Naples, among whom are Alessandro Scarlatti, Pergolesi, Domenico Cimarosa, Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti. The historical museum has a display of rare antique musical instruments. Afternoon walking tour along Via San Sebastiano, a street completely dedicated to music shops. Lunch at a typical Neapolitan restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Sorrento. DAY 8 - CAPRI This morning, we transfer to the Port of Sorrento, where we catch a hydrofoil to the Isle of Capri. Visit lovely Anacapri and explore the charming shops as you stroll the island’s narrow streets. Continue to “La Piazzetta,” the social heart of the island, on your way to the open-air Gardens of Augustus. Tonight, enjoy a festive Farewell dinner in Sorrento. DAY 9 - SORRENTO Early transfer to Rome airport for your departure flight.

Continue to Selinunte where you visit the archeological site, renowned for its majestic remnants of its temples and acropolis. Return to Palermo for dinner out and overnight in the hotel. DAY 5 - PALERMO - PIAZZA ARMERINA - TAORMINA Depart this morning for the town of Taormina via Piazza Armerina to visit the early 4th century mosaic

pavements in the Villa Romana del Casale. Lunch on your own. Continue the drive to Taormina. Dinner and overnight in the hotel. DAY 6 - TAORMINA - CITY SIGHTSEEING American buffet breakfast in the hotel. Today we visit the Greek and Roman outdoor Theatre, offering a rare beauty, a panorama of Mt. Etna and the sea coast. All are closely interwoven, and are characteristic expressions of the culture, both past and present. DAY 1 - USA - ITALY Depart from the U.S., beginning your unforgettable Learning Journey. DAY 2 - ARRIVAL IN ATHENS Yassou and welcome to Greece! Upon arrival in Athens, meet your Perillo Tours’ Learning Journey Tour Manager and transfer to the center of Athens, the capital of Greece and birthplace of democracy and philosophy. Enjoy a walking tour to see the center of the city, the Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the Old City Plaka and Flea Market. This is the oldest district of Athens, located under the Acropolis, the only district where a visitor may see the Greek capital as it was 1000 years ago. The part of Plaka towards the Acropolis is named Anafiotika, with buildings that have a Cycladic architectural style. After World War II all buildings in the 12

Plaka district have been characterized as architectural monuments. There are numerous museums, cafes and restaurants in the area. Proceed to the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 3 - ATHENS SIGHTSEEING TOUR After breakfast depart for your sightseeing tour of Athens with our professional guide. First you will have a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Modern Olympic Games in 1896 were held. On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Academy, University and National Library. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally the Parthenon “the harmony between material and spirit,” the monument that “puts order in mind.” Your first taste of Athens would not be complete without a visit to the Acropolis Museum, a modern architectural building where, at last, the statues have found their home and

admire the wonders and architectural masterpieces of the classical era. Return to your hotel and the remainder of your day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel. DAY 4 - ATHENS - DELPHI ATHENS Enjoy your breakfast and depart for your tour to Delphi. Located on the slopes of Mount Parnasus, Delphi, once believed to be the centre, “Naval” of the Earth, is the home of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. At the oracle of Apollo, Pythia, the high priestess of the temple, under the influence of the ancient god Apollo, delivered her famous prophesies. You will also visit the Treasury of the Athenians and the Delphi Museum, which hosts valuable pieces of art like the famous bronze charioteer. Depart for Athens. Enjoy your dinner at hotel and overnight. DAY 5 - ATHENS - CRUISE TO MYKONOS After breakfast at hotel check out and transfer to Piraeus Port and set sail into the Aegean Sea. In the evening we arrive at our first island: Mykonos, which belongs to the group of the


Cyclades. The mountainous island of Mykonos has about 400 churches. The main city consists of picturesque white houses and the island’s trademarks: the charming windmills. The place has a unique architecture of Byzantine and Western characteristics. Must “sees” in Mykonos include the church of the Virgin Paraportiani and the Cathedral on the main square as well as the many boutiques and taverns along tiny paved streets. Return to your ship for dinner and overnight. DAY 6 - CRUISE TO EPHESUS (KUSADASI, TURKEY) PATMOS Arrive at the port of Kusadasi on the Turkish coast were you can take an optional excursion to the Ancient city of Ephesus, where Mary lived with Joseph in a small house on the hill behind the city. You can walk the marble roads rutted by the wheels of countless chariots and pass the ruins which are architectural masterpieces. It is here that Paul preached to the Ephessians and where he was arrested and cast out of the city. Ship sets sail at noon for the Island of Patmos, the holy island where Saint John the Divine wrote the book of Revelations. On the optional excursion, we will visit the cave where he lived- now the site of a monastery housing priceless icons and manuscripts. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight on board. DAY 7 - CRUISE RHODES A day to the island of Rhodes. Optional excursion to the Temple of Athena at the magnificent Acropolis of Lindos and the Valley of the Butterflies. DAY 8 - CRUISE TO SANTORINI & CRETE In the morning, we arrive at the volcanic island of Santorini in the Cyclades. Admire the spectacular caldera, created by the eruption of the closeby islet’s volcano in ancient times and the whitewashed houses perched on the edge. Explore this cosmopolitan island on your own or take an optional tour and enjoy the breathtaking panorama and

the world famous sunset in Oia traditional village. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight on board. DAY 9 - PIR AEUS - SOUNION After disembarkation, depart for your tour in Sounion. Drive along the coastal road, passing the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni & Varkiza to the most Southern point of Attica, Cape Sounion, where the white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand. On the way, you have a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and the little islands offshore. After visiting the Temple of Poseidon, you have time to walk at leisure on the rocky cliffs of Sounion. This evening you will enjoy a festive Greek Evening dinner! DAY 10 - ATHENS - USA After breakfast you will be transferred to the Athens airport .

INFORMATION AND RESERVATIONS. TERMS AND CONDITIONS. RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT. A $500 group deposit will be required to book land and airspace. Final air payments are due 95 days prior to departure. Final payment for land accommodations are due 65 days prior to departure. Group documents are sent 30 days prior to departure. PRICES. All prices are subject to increase due to any increase in our costs, such as, but not limited to: increases in air, land or sea fares, fuel cost, and currency fluctuations. All taxes, fuel surcharges, security charges and any other taxes or charges imposed by airlines, airports, cruise lines, governments, etc. are not included in price. Gratuities not specifically mentioned are excluded. AIR DEVIATING TOUR MEMBERS must arrange their own transportation from airport to hotel and hotel to airport. UNUSED TOUR ELEMENTS. No refund will be given for any unused tour features, by reason of customer’s choice, for operational reasons, or because of bad weather. ERRORS. In case of printing, typographical error, computer error, verbal or human billing error, we reserve the right to invoice or re-invoice participants with corrected billing. TICKET REVISION/CANCELLATION FEE. Once tickets are issued, a $200 per ticket revision/cancellation fee will apply to each ticket plus the cost of express mail charges. This charge is not covered by the Perillo Protection Plan and subject to change. HOLIDAYS AND CHANGES. During local or national holidays abroad, certain facilities such as museums, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited. In such instances, and whenever possible, slight itinerary adjustments are made by Perillo Tours to minimize inconvenience to tour members. If, however, your enjoyment might be diminished by such minor limitations, please check with the appropriate tourist office before selecting a departure. Holidays, closing days and other circumstances may change the day of the week for scheduled “dining out”, sightseeing and other activities. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS. United States citizens require a valid passport only, when traveling to Europe. Non-citizens have other requirements which should be checked immediately.

BAGGAGE. Each tour member is limited to one large suitcase and one small carryon due to limited baggage area on buses. Some airlines are now charging for all checked luggage as well as overweight suitcases. Please check your airline’s website for current information. As Perillo Tours cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged luggage, the Perillo Protection Plan outlined below is highly recommended. SINGLE ROOMS. A limited number of single rooms are available at the supplement rate shown for each tour. While single rooms provide privacy, they are often smaller than twin bedrooms and sometimes poorly located, especially in older hotels. TRIPLE ROOMS. Are available on some tours. They usually consist of a twin bedded room with an additional folding bed or cot for the third person. This may not be comfortable for three adults. CANCELLATION AND INSURANCE. Because of the extraordinary savings being offered, if you cancel your reservations, the penalties shown below will apply depending on the length of time remaining before departure. Your right to receive a refund is limited. All cancellations and refund requests must be sent to us in writing and are subject to the following cancellation charges which are based on the price of the tour and the number of weeks prior to departure we receive your notice. All refunds are conditioned upon your understanding that your acceptance of a refund is on the express condition that you release us from all further liability and you thereby waive all additional rights and remedies under this contract or any applicable state, federal or foreign law. TOUR MEMBERS NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on and

off motorcoaches and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Travelers who need such assistance must be accompanied by a qualified companion. OPTIONAL TOURS. Traditionally, tour directors make available for purchase a series of optional excursions and other activities to fill in free days and evenings. You are under no obligation to take any, they are strictly optional. Depending on the tour, if you avail yourself of all optionals, the total will be approximately $200 to $600 per person. RESPONSIBILITY. Perillo Tours, Inc., and their employees, shareholders, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, agents, and assigns (collectively “Perillo Tours”), does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip including, for example, lodging facilities, airline, vessel, motorcoach, or other transportation companies, guides or guide services, local ground operators, providers or organizers of optional excursions, food service providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, Perillo Tours is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity or of any third party. Tour members are also subject to the terms and conditions set forth on their airline, rail or cruise line ticket. These conditions are available upon request. You may see the name PERILLO TOURS affixed to motor vehicles, on signs around the hotel or elsewhere. This use of our name is purely for reasons of identification and does not denote ownership, supervision, or control by Perillo Tours in any way. In addition and without limitation, Perillo Tours is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation, or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Also be advised that foreign air-conditioning systems in public places, hotels and motorcoaches are not up to U.S. standards.

If due to weather, flight schedules or other uncontrollable factors, you are required to spend an additional night(s), you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers and meal costs. Baggage is entirely at owner’s risk. The right is reserved to decline, to accept or retain any person as a member of these trips at any time. In any such event, Perillo Tour’s sole obligation is to refund for any unused accommodations or other trip features. Passenger certifies not to have any mental, physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for himself/herself or other passengers. Perillo Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary or trip features at any time and for any reason, with or without notice and/ or to substitute airlines or hotels of a similar category for those listed in this brochure, and Perillo Tours shall not be liable for any such changes. By your knowing the above, you can purchase the Perillo Protection Plan and there will be no misunderstanding before, during or after your vacation. From time-to-time a tour departure may be cancelled for lack of participation. In such a case, the operator’s sole responsibility is to provide a refund without any other liability whatsoever. Operator will have no further responsibility for any conjunction tickets, non-refundable or otherwise. ARBITRATION AGREEMENT. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms and Conditions, to the Responsibility Clause, to the brochure, or any other information relating in any way to the trip, or to the trip itself, shall be settled solely and exclusively by binding arbitration in New Jersey, in accordance with the commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association then existent. Upon payment of a deposit, tour participant indicates acceptance of the above Terms and Conditions and of the Arbitration Agreement. OPERATOR/TOUR MEMBER AGREEMENT.
