Keeping Your Children Safe & Secure – S.E.A.T.S for Kids Every year, thousands of Canadian children under the age of 12 are injured in vehicle collisions. Properly used child seats and booster seats can significantly reduce the chance of children being hurt or killed. However, many car seats are installed improperly. S.E.A.T.S. for Kids, an Ottawa non-profit organization, offers car seat inspection clinics at various locations throughout the year. Registration for a clinic is required and is done via their website www.seatsforkidscanada.com.
