clafoutis...

What a great name for a cake! And on top of that I think it is the easiest cake in the world to make‌ and to eat.. Vive la France!

ingredients 3 large egg whites 600 g fresh raspberries 40 g butter - plus 20 g to butter the dish 100 g flour 60 g sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1 vanilla pod, seeds scraped out 4 eggs 2 dl milk Brown sugar for sprinkling

how to

1. Heat the oven to 210 C 2. Rinse the raspberries carefully and melt the butter. 3. Mix flour, sugar, salt and the vanilla in a bowl. Break the eggs one at a

time and mix them in together with the milk. At the end you add the melted butter.

4. Butter an ovenproof dish thoroughly (preferably a nice colorful one from RICE) Spread out the raspberries in the dish and pour the mixture over. Bake for 10 minutes at 210 and then reduce to 180 for 20 more minutes.

5. Once cooled down you sprinkle with the brown sugar. How simple is that?! And delicious too... 6. ENJOY!
