HI my name is Abby Hall. My steers name is Copper and he’s a Simmental-Herford. At weigh in he was 752 pounds and since then he has had a great weight gain. He is full red and is very friendly and loves a good brush. I got him from my uncle Lorne Hall along with a small rather funny looking steer named Gerald named courtesy of my sister. Gerald is Copper's little buddy and keeps him company.

Hi, my name is Wesley Pals and I have been with the Rocky North 4-H Multi Club for 6 years now. I love growing up on a ranch with all the ups and downs. I get to see what my steer was like from birth to death. My steer this year is a Simmental x, home grown steer. He is growing great and will finish very nice. A few things about me, I am 14 years old, love to ride horses and to help around the farm most of the time. I hope to one day become a heavy-duty mechanic. That is a little about me and my steer this year and thank you for supporting our 2023 4-H Show and Sale.

My name is Bailey McNutt, and this is my second year in 4-H. My steer’s name is Steve and he is a Simmental Cross. I have learned a lot this year and in my spare time I like to play hockey and help out at the farm.

Hello, my name is Haleigh Mason, this is my 4th year in 4-H and also my first year as an intermediate. My steer this year is a beautiful well-balanced animal with what I think is a really neat colour, he’s not a typical red but red to say the least. College Fund has put my patience to the test. Between sports, 4-H, and regular day to day life let’s just say I’ve been BUSY. The best kind of busy that is. College Fund loves attention and I think he has the cutest baby face with his big doe eyes. My steer weighed 854 lbs at weigh in and I am hoping to get him to that 1400 lbs mark by sale day. Either way I know College Fund will make a great addition to your freezer come May. Thank you so much to Clearwater Vet for the purchase of my steer last year. I also want to say thank you to the Roger’s family for continuing to supply me with feed for my 4-H animals. See you all at Show and Sale and thank you all so much for coming and supporting our clubs. It really does mean so much to us all!
