Good day potential buyers My name is Allie Pals. I’ve been in 4-H for 12 years and sadly this is my last year. Over the past 12 years I’ve done many different projects that have helped me learn valuable life skills. I grew up in the agricultural industry for most of my life and hope to stay involved with it for the rest of my life. This year my steer’s name is KB, he is a Simmental, born and raised on my parents ranch just outside of Caroline AB, where we run a commercial herd of around 150 head. KB weigh in at 720lbs at weigh in back in October, as of February he weighed 1100lbs. He’s very friendly and is the first one to the feed bunk to greet you. I’ve only had the halter on him a few times and so far he’s doing good with it. I hope to see you at our 2023 Show and Sale May 25th, 2023 at the Kurt Browning Arena in Caroline AB.
Hey, I’m Derrick Stewart and this is my steer Red. He is a red Simmental cross and has been home raised. I have been a member of the Rocky South 4-H Beef Club for 8 years. Other than 4-H I enjoy playing guitar, writing, and driving. A big thank you to any past and present sponsors, and I would like to invite any and all interested buyers to the sale. It is on Thursday May 25th at the Caroline arena. Thanks again and hope to see you there!

Hello, my name is Kamryn McNutt I am 15 years old and this is my second year in the Rocky South 4-H beef club and my first year as a senior member. This is my steer Clifford #2 and we are excited to see you all at the show and sale May 26th at the Caroline area.

Hi everyone, I’m Graeson Mason, this is my 2nd year as a Junior 4-H member. I have spent countless hours trying to figure out how this steer has managed to outsmart a halter. EVERY time I put a halter on him, doesn’t matter if he’s tied up or just hanging out, he gets out of it like he’s The Great Houdini!! Poof is his name. For a good reason. He loves to run me around the pen almost like a good game of cat and mouse. All jokes aside he sure is growing nice, he weighed in at 740 lbs and I’m sure I can get him to 1300 lbs. I’ve put a lot of work into trying to halter break him and hope that shows come sale day. Thank you so much to Clearwater Oilfield Services for purchasing my steer last year. Also thank you to all for continuing to support 4-H. Can’t wait to see you all May 25th so you can watch Poof show off his nice bod.
