ATHLETICS

At Penn Highlands, there are many opportunities to get involved in athletics. Our student-athletes are successful both inside and outside the classroom.

Penn Highlands is a chartered National Junior College Athletic Association member college, competing in Region 20. It is the mission of the NJCAA to foster a national program of athletic participation in an environment that supports equitable opportunities consistent with the educational objectives of member colleges. Their goal is to promote and foster two-year college athletics.

The Black Bears are a part of the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference. The WPCC was founded in 1972.

Penn Highlands serves students by offering social, recreational, and educational programs that enhance the college experience. Games, contests, trips, community service projects, and more are planned throughout the year.

STUDENT CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS

Involvement in clubs and organizations is a cornerstone of the student experience, empowering students to develop and enhance their teambuilding, leadership, and networking skills. As students participate, they build meaningful personal connections that often last a lifetime. Our student organizations provide a platform to explore passions and broaden horizons.
