Blair — Blomberg Kenneth Wayne Blair and Linda Lee Blomberg were married Oct. 12 at the Masonic Temple in Port Angeles, where a reception followed the ceremony. The groom is the son of Ron and Arlene Collins of Bayview, Idaho. The bride is the daughter of Larry Blomberg and the late Darlene Blomberg, both of Port Angeles. The groom graduated from Prosser High School in Prosser in 1976 and Perry Technical in Yakima in 1985. He works for the Bonneville Power Administration. The bride is a 1988 graduate of Port Angeles High School. She is a preschool teacher at Kids’
Kampus Daycare. Donnielle Maine was matron of honor, and bridesmaid was Kayla Blomberg, the bride’s niece. The groom’s brother, Lawrence Blair, was best man and Robert Blomberg, the bride’s nephew, served as groomsman. Keira Blair, the groom’s niece, acted as ring bearer, and Sophia Canteell, the groom’s great-niece, and Lilyan Register served as flower girls. The couple danced to the music of “I Love You Like That� by John Michael Montgomery. The couple honeymooned in Kona on the big island of Hawaii. The couple live in Port Angeles.
Kaley and Conn Doherty
Doherty — Pickett Conn Doherty and Kaley Pickett were married Aug. 24 at Shady Canyon Golf Club in Irvine, Calif. The groom is the son of Mike and Paula Doherty of Port Angeles. The bride is the daughter of Gary and Nancy Pickett of Laguna Beach, Calif. The groom graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science and from the University of California at Los Angeles with a master’s in business administration. He is the staff executive for the Space and Airborne Systems division at the
Raytheon Co. in Los Angeles. The bride graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in business and communications. She is the senior director of marketing and sales at The Related Companies in Los Angeles. The wedding party included brothers of the groom, EĂłin and Killian Doherty, and brother to the bride, Scott Pickett, and longtime friends of both the bride and groom. The couple honeymooned in Thailand and Cambodia. They live in Manhattan Beach, Calif.

The bride is the daughter of Louis “Terry� and Carol Roszatycki of Port Angeles. The groom is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Mass. The bride is a graduate of the University of Washington. The wedding party included the bride’s sisters,
Katie, Amy and Rachel Roszatycki as honor attendants with Tracey and Todd Tamas attending on the groom’s side. The couple’s wedding song was “Peggy-O,� a traditional ballad played by Jerry Garcia. The groom is employed as manager at Granny’s Cafe in Port Angeles. The bride is employed as kitchen manager at Granny’s Cafe. The couple honeymooned on Santa Catalina Island, Calif. They live in Port Angeles.

The Volkmanns Danny Lee and Judy Lynne Volkmann of Port Angeles celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary Oct. 30 at the Bushwhacker Restaurant in Port Angeles. The dinner party was hosted by their children. Danny Lee Volkmann married Judy Lynne Olsen on Oct. 30, 1964, in Port Angeles. Danny worked for Crown Zellerbach and McGlens, and he retired from West Coast Grocery. Judy was employed by and retired from Port Angeles School District as a para-educator. Both were raised in Port
Angeles and still make their home in Port Angeles, providing day care for children, coaching baseball and badminton. The Volkmanns enjoy camping, fishing, clamming and traveling. The couple’s family includes one son, Bret (Nicole) Volkmann of Port Angeles and daughters Laurie (Lowell) Rentas and Wendy (Alan) Burwell of Port Angeles and Stephanie (Randy) Konopaski of Olympia. They have 10 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren, with a fourth on the way.
