Sicherheits- und Hygiene-Empfehlungen für rotierende Instrumente Stand: 05/2008

Sicherheitsempfehlungen • Bis zum erstmaligen Einsatz sollte die Aufbewahrung rotierender Instrumente in der Originalverpackung bei Zimmertemperatur staub- und feuchtigkeitsgeschützt erfolgen. • Einwandfreie, gewartete und gereinigte Turbinen-, sowie Hand- und Winkelstück-Antriebe einsetzen. • Instrumente so tief wie möglich einspannen. • Instrumente vor dem Ansetzen an das Objekt auf Drehzahl bringen; dabei auf exakten Rundlauf achten.

Hygieneempfehlungen

• Bei FG-Instrumenten mit einer Gesamtlänge von über 22 mm oder einem Kopfdurchmesser über 2 mm ist zusätzliche Kühlung erforderlich. • Bei chirurgischen Instrumenten mit langem Schaft ist ggf. eine zusätzliche Kühlung erforderlich. • Zur Vermeidung unerwünschter Wärmeentwicklung ist beim Einsatz für eine ausreichende Wasserkühlung zu sorgen. In der zahnärztlichen Praxis mind. 50 ml in der Minute. • Verbogene bzw. nicht rundlaufende Instrumente oder Instrumente mit beschädigten / abgenutzten Arbeitsteilen müssen aussortiert und entsorgt werden.

• Maximal zulässige Umdrehungszahl beachten (auf jeder BUSCH Packung angegeben). Das Nichtbeachten der maximal zulässigen Drehzahl führt zu einem Sicherheitsrisiko. • Verkanten und Hebeln der Instrumente vermeiden. • Je nach Anwendung Atem-/ Augenschutz und Absaugung benutzen. • Andruckkraft 0,3 bis 2 N nicht überschreiten. • Instrumente nur entsprechend ihrer Zweckbestimmung einsetzen.

Anwendungsbereich: Rotierende Stahl-, Hartmetall- und Diamantinstrumente, Polierer und keramische Schleifer zur Anwendung an Menschen. Einschränkung der Wiederaufbereitung: Die Produktlebensdauer wird von Verschleiß und Beschädigung durch den Gebrauch der Instrumente bestimmt. Prophylaxe Polierer und Prophylaxe Bürsten sind Einmalprodukte. Bei nicht rostsicheren Instrumenten sind Desinfektions- und Reinigungsmittel mit Korrosionsschutz zu verwenden. (nicht rostsichere Instrumente sind nicht für den Dampfsterilisator geeignet).

Die Instrumente sind vollständig und blasenfrei in das Tauchbad zu legen. Abweichungen von den vom Desinfektionsmittelhersteller vorgeschriebenen Verweilzeiten oder Konzentrationen sowie nicht abgereinigte Anhaftungen können durch Bildung von unerwünschten Reaktionsprodukten den Zustand der Instrumentenoberflächen beeinträchtigen und/oder die Wirksamkeit der Desinfektion in Frage stellen. Desinfektionsmittel für die Instrumentendesinfektion rotierender Dentalinstrumente müssen ein CE-Zeichen mit einer 4-stelligen Nummer tragen. Es sind ausschließlich die Mittel auszuwählen, die vom Hersteller zur Desinfektion von rotierenden Instrumenten der Gruppen der jeweils verwendeten Instrumentenart (Stahl oder Hartmetall oder Diamant oder Schleifkörper oder Polierer/ Bürsten) ausdrücklich als geeignet empfohlen werden ( z.b. BIB forte Alpro-Dental Produkte GmbH / alkalisch, aldehydfrei). Bei korrekter Beachtung der Gebrauchshinweise der Desinfektionsmittelhersteller und der hier gegebenen Empfehlungen sind uns bisher keine Materialunverträglichkeiten durch die Benutzung von CE-gekennzeichneten Instrumentendesinfektionsmitteln bekannt geworden. Kein Wasserstoffperoxid H2O2 zur Instrumentendesinfektion verwenden - Materialschäden sind ggf. nicht auszuschließen !

Non-compliance with the maximum permitted speed can be dangerous. • Do not wedge or lever the instruments. • Wear a mask / safety glasses and use aspiration, depending on the application concerned. • Do not exceed the maximum contact pressure of 0.3 to 2 N. • Instruments may only be used in conformity with their intended use.

• Rotary dental instruments should be stored at room temperature in their original packaging where they are protected against dust and moisture until used for the first time. • Only use undamaged turbines which have been serviced and cleaned, as well as hand and right-angle pieces. • Instruments must be inserted as deep as possible. • Instruments must have reached the required speed before being applied to the workpiece; absolutely concentric running must be ensured.

Disinfectants for rotary dental instruments must bear a CE mark and four-digit number. Only products which have explicitly been recommended by their manufacturer for disinfecting rotary instruments of the respective types (steel or carbide or diamond or abrasives or polishers / brushes) may be used for this purpose (e.g. BIB forte Alpro-Dental Produkte GmbH / alkaline, aldehyde-free). Material incompatibility due to the use of instrument disinfectants bearing the CE mark have so far not been reported, provided that the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions for use and the recommendations set out here are correctly observed. Hydrogen peroxide H2O2 must not be used to disinfect dental instruments, as the material may be damaged as a result!

Restriction au retraitement: la durée de vie des produits dépend de l’usure et des endommagements subis dans le cadre de l’utilisation des instruments. Polissoirs pour prophylaxie et brosses pour prophylaxie sont des instuments pour usage unique. Pour les instruments non inoxydables, on utilisera des désinfectants et des détergents contenant un agent anti-corrosion. Utiliser exclusivement les produits expressément appropriés et recommandés par le fabricant pour la désinfection d’instruments rotatifs du type respectivement utilisé (acier, carbure, diamantés, abrasifs ou polisseuses/brosses) (par ex. BIB forte de Alpro-Dental Produkte GmbH / alcalin, sans aldéhyde). En respectant correctement les recommandations d’utilisation des fabricants des désinfectants et les présentes recommandations, aucune incompatibilité de matériaux n’a encore été constatée jusqu’à ce jour avec les produits de désinfection d’instruments portant le sigle CE. Ne pas utiliser d’eau oxygénée H2O2 pour la désinfection d’instruments – d’éventuels endommagements du matériau ne peuvent pas être exclus !

Recomendaciones de seguridad • Hasta su utilización por primera vez, los instrumentos rotativos deben ser conservados en su envase original, a temperatura ambiente y protegidos del polvo y de la humedad. • Utilizar turbinas, piezas de mano y contra-ángulos correctos, revisados y limpios. • Fijar los instrumentos introduciéndolos lo más profundamente posible. • Comenzar a hacer girar los instrumentos antes de aplicarlos al objeto; al hacerlo observar que giren exactamente concéntricos.

• No sobrepasar el número máximo de revoluciones (está indicado en cada envase BUSCH). Sobrepasar el número máximo de revoluciones provoca riesgo de seguridad. • Evitar ladear y apalancar los instrumentos. • Dependiendo de la aplicación, utilizar protección bucal u ocular y aspiración. • No superar una presión de contacto de 0,3 a 2 N. • Utilizar los instrumentos sólo para su uso previsto.

Desinfección

Limpieza

• Los instrumentos FG con una longitud total superior a 22 mm, o un diámetro de la parte activa superior a 2 mm, requieren un enfriamiento adicional. • En los instrumentos quirúrgicos con mango largo, puede resultar necesario un enfriamiento adicional. • Para evitar que se produzca un calentamiento no deseado, hay que procurar un enfriamiento suficiente con agua. En la práctica odontológica es como mínimo de 50 ml por minuto. • Se deben desechar y eliminar los instrumentos deformados o que no giren de forma concéntrica, así como los que tengan las partes activas dañadas o desgastadas.

Esterilización

Desinfección térmica

Campo de aplicación: instrumentos rotativos de acero, carburo y diamantados, pulidores y abrasivos cerámicos para aplicación en personas. Limitación de la reutilización: la vida útil del producto está determinada por el desgaste y el deterioro causados por el uso del instrumento. Pulidores profilácticos y cepillos profilácticos son de uso único. En caso que los instrumentos no sean resistentes a la oxidación, se deberán utilizar productos desinfectantes y de limpieza con protección contra la corrosión (los instrumentos no resistentes a la oxidación no son adecuados para el esterilizador de vapor).

Los instrumentos deben sumergirse en el baño de inmersión totalmente y sin burbujas. Las desviaciones de lo especificado por el fabricante del desinfectante en lo que se refiere al tiempo de permanencia o a las concentraciones, así como las adherencias no eliminadas, pueden deteriorar las superficies de los instrumentos debido a la formación de productos de reacción no deseados, y/o cuestionar la eficacia de la desinfección. Los desinfectantes utilizados para la desinfección de los instrumentos dentales rotativos deben llevar un símbolo CE con un número de 4 dígitos. Se deben elegir exclusivamente los productos que hayan sido recomendados explícitamente por el fabricante para la desinfección de instrumentos rotativos de los grupos de tipos de instrumentos utilizados en cada caso (acero o carburo o diamantados o abrasivos o pulidores/cepillos) (p. ej. BIB forte Alpro-Dental Produkte GmbH / alcalino, exento de aldehído). Observando correctamente las instrucciones de uso de los fabricantes de los desinfectantes y las recomendaciones aquí mencionadas, no ha llegado a nuestro conocimiento ninguna intolerancia del material con la utilización de los productos de desinfección marcados con el símbolo CE. No utilizar agua oxigenada H2O2 para la desinfección de los instrumentos - ¡No puede descartarse que se produzcan daños materiales!

LIMPIEZA

Tipo de preparación (no es fijo)

Automáticamente, con aparato térmico de limpieza / desinfección según EN/ISO 15883 (desinfectador térmico) mínimo 90 °C y 5 minutos de permanencia.

Manualmente (a mano)

Limpieza asistida por ultrasonidos en productos de limpieza y desinfección adecuados.

- Seguir las instrucciones del fabricante del aparato y del producto de limpieza utilizado. - Antes de introducir los instrumentos en el desinfectador, se deben enjuagar a fondo con agua corriente. - Dosificar el producto de limpieza según las especificaciones sobre el producto. - Tener en cuenta las intolerancias del material indicadas. - Las partes activas de los instrumentos de carburo pueden resultar atacadas en el aparato. Recomendamos utilizar el Steri-Safe de BUSCH como soporte, con arco de seguridad que impide que se caigan los instrumentos.

Con cepillo de plástico duro bajo chorro de agua limpia

Se debe comprobar por separado la idoneidad del producto utilizado para el procedimiento de ultrasonidos. Para evitar el deterioro de los instrumentos, al aplicar procedimientos de ultrasonidos hay que procurar que no se rocen entre sí las partes activas de los instrumentos de acero, carburo y diamantados y de los abrasivos (p. ej. en el soporte Steri-Safe de BUSCH). Secado, preferentemente con aire comprimido limpio y seco, como alternativa con pañuelos de papel limpios y secos.

Comprobación visual del instrumento en cuanto a deterioro, desgaste y restos de suciedad. Medio auxiliar: lupa de 6 a 8 aumentos, como mínimo. Los instrumentos con espacios huecos o cavidades se deben limpiar con especial meticulosidad y se debe comprobar que están limpios.

Conservar en soportes o bandejas perforadas adecuadas, protegidos contra el polvo, la humedad, el deterioro y la recontaminación.
