His jam-packed daily schedule doesn’t always provide him with the healthiest food choices when he’s either on set or travelling, but for Maponyane, it’s not an excuse to eat badly all the time. Like most of us, he may not always be able to choose what food is available to him. But he’ll make a conscious effort to eat healthily for his next meal, and he doesn’t see it as a chore. “I love eating well. I love good, nutritious food. It’s all about enjoying your food, and the fact that it is nutritious is a great added benefit,” he says. Maps Maponyane’s top tips for managing your health and wellbeing every day: 1 Eat less, more often to keep your

metabolism steady.

2 Have a glass of water before and

after every meal.

3 Moisturise and protect your skin

regularly.

4 Use an SPF during the day (and

at night) to protect your skin from UV damage.

5 Spend 10 minutes in the morning

taking deep breaths and reflecting before starting your day.
