The FarmHouse Foundation recently welcomed 46 new members into its highest giving societies. Order of the Crest Accumulative gifts of $250,000 or more Sonny Beck (PU ’59) is president and general manager of Beck’s Superior Hybrids. He was named Master Builder in 2014. He and his wife, Glendia, live in Atlanta, Ind. Doug Sims (IL ’65) is retired CEO of CoBank. He is a past Foundation Trustee and Chairman of the Board. He received the Foundation’s Philanthropy Laureate Award in 2006 and was named a Master Builder in 2008. He and his wife, Nancy, live in Keystone, Colo. Century Club Accumulative gifts of $100,000—$249,999 Roy Frederick (NE ’63) is a retired agricultural economics professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He was named a Master Builder in 2002. He and his wife, Judi, live in Lincoln, Neb. Doane Club Accumulative gifts of $50,000—$99,999 Ryan Downs (NE ’88) is CEO of Proxibid, Inc. He is a past Chairman and former Trustee of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. He was named Philanthropy Laureate in 2014. Ryan and his wife, Valerie, live in Springfield, Neb. Clayton Yeutter (NE ’49) is a senior advisor at Hogan & Hartson law firm in Washington, D.C. He served as U.S. Secretary of Agriculture from 1989-91. He also served as U.S. Trade Representative and U.S. Ambassador for Special Trade. He was named Master Builder in 1978. He and his wife, Cristena, live in Potomac, M.D. Keith Heuermann (NE ’43) is president of BKH Popcorn, Inc. He lives in Phillips, Neb. Roger Tremayne (NE ’67) is co-owner of Circle T Feedlot, a cattle feeding and farming operation. He and his wife, LeaAnn, live in Walthill, Neb. H.K. Wilson Club Accumulative gifts of $25,000—$49,999 Lloyd Bettis (IA ’67) is chairman and CEO of the National Bureau of Property Administration, a national property tax consulting firm headquartered in Chicago. He and his wife, Kathryn, reside in Glenview, Ill. Brent Bible (PU ’93) is an owner and partner of Stillwater Farms. He also maintains a Beck’s Superior Hybrids seed dealership. He was on the International Executive Board and served as president. He is a Foundation Trustee. He and his wife, Stacy, live in Lafayette, Ind.

Donald Buhl (MN ’69) owns Buhl’s Ridge View Farm, specializing in corn, hogs and soybeans. He and his wife, Susan, live in Tyler, Minn. Randy Crom (IA ’76) is a veterinary medical officer for the USDA-APHIS. He and his wife, Julie, live in Washington, D.C. Corby Fichter, Jr. (IA ’50) is a retired farmer. His son, Corby (IA ’78) and grandsons, Adam (IA ’12) and Austin (IA ’12) are members of FarmHouse. He lives in Shenandoah, Iowa. Ralph Harrison (OK ’69) is president of the law firm of Harrison & Mecklenburg, Inc. He and his wife, Denise, live at Kingfisher, Okla. Maynard Hogberg (IA ’64) is a professor and chair emeritus of the department of animal science at Iowa State University as well as from Michigan State University. He and his wife, Anne, live in Ames, Iowa. Terry Jaspers (SD ’74) is a financial officer at the Watertown, S.D., Farm Credit Services of America office. He and his wife, Sandi, live in Sisseton, S.D. Ralph Knobel (NE ’52) is chairman of the board at Knobel Farms, Inc. His sons, Mark (NE ’77) and Todd (NE ’82) are also members of FarmHouse. He and his wife, Martha, live in Fairbury, Neb.
