Prayer of Confession
Gracious and merciful God, we confess to you today that we know there are things about our lives for which we feel shame. We try to present ourselves to the world around us, and even to you, as if all is well, when it is not. We have tried to cover our sins, but we know that you see them. Forgive our sins, both personal and societal, and free us to be the people you have created us to be. Create within us clean hearts. Hear our private confessions as we make them now in silence…

peachtreechurch.org/griefshare Everyone carries brokenness. We are as stones, once whole, now shattered. The master craftsman, God, makes beauty from the pieces of our lives. God creates a mosaic out of our grief. There is beauty in the midst of your brokenness. Share your grief and let others help you discover the work of art God can make in you. GriefShare, a faith-based support group, features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Groups meet regularly for 13 weeks from 7:00– 8:30 pm in the Harrington Library. A new group will be meeting starting January 22.
