The vision for the State Equestrian Centre was to create a benchmark venue for state, national and international equestrian activities as well as a venue that could be used for non-equestrian activities. Covering a vast 30 hectares, the design promotes accessibility and incorporates one of the country’s largest all weather sand areas, providing seating for over 3,000 spectators. Grass and sand warmup areas, new stables and wash bays add to the equestrian facilities. State of the art audio, access to lock up storage and food and beverage areas have been incorporated to add to the venue’s appeal for concerts, retail and trade shows.
