PDR BEADED & MACRAME JEWELRY PALM HARBOR, FL IN THE BEGINNING…. I began beading as a Volunteer in a Special Ed class at my son's elementary school, as I was not allowed to volunteer in his class and still wanted to be a part of his day. The special ed teacher used beading and jewelry making as developmental tools, such as patterning and math skills. Then the students would sell the jewelry that they made at school functions (another lessoneconomics! These were 2nd and 3rd graders too!) I had never done this before and WOW! did I enjoy it!
