What impact has PCCF grant money in Perry County had in the past year? Here are just a few of those stories.

To the left, Cannelton Police Chief Lee Hall holds one of the body cameras the department was able to purchase with the help of grant money from the Perry County Community Foundation.

The above picture illustrates how small the cameras are. Police body cameras can help protect lives.

Playtime is now more fun with this one of a kind playground designed by Mike Kleeman.

Thanks to funding from the Perry County Community Foundation’s discretionary grant cycle, plus funding from other sources, this playground located at Mulzer Park in Derby was created.

Perry Central Elementary School’s After School Program “Hands on Perry County” participate in a variety of fields trips each year to learn more about Perry County and its history. Recently, they visited the Celtic Cross where they learned about how the cross was created and also had the opportunity to create works of art as they learned about the stone carving process. The Foundation was pleased to help through providing a grant to help fund the project.
