Job Lot Charitable Foundation provides police with bicycles SMOOTH RIDES:
The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation recently donated 26 new GenZe E222B electric bicycles, each one valued at $1,300, to the Narragansett and New Shoreham police departments to increase safety patrols in the two towns and other tourist destinations this summer. The Job Lot Charitable Foundation has supported numerous causes, including addressing hunger, homelessness, child care, health care and promoting learning, among other initiatives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation distributed approximately $15 million in personal protective equipment to school systems, hospitals, emergency personnel and other health facilities.
