Sacred Heart School, a Twentyfirst Century School of Excellence, has been serving children in pre-K through eighth grade since 1944. Its goal is to empower students in academics, technology, athletics, the arts and spiritual growth. The student body consists of lower- and middleincome families of various ethnic backgrounds and religions, including, but not limited to, Catholic and non-Catholic, Caucasian, Hispanic, Haitian, African American and Guatemalan descent. Main Fundraising Event: 2015 Heroes Golf Tournament Date: March 23, 2015 Location: Breakers West Country Club, West Palm Beach Description of Event: The 2015 Heroes Pro-Am Golf Tournament features a cocktail reception, lunch, an awards ceremony, a raffle and entertainment. Funds raised will be used for student scholarships and the betterment of children’s education at Sacred Heart School. From the famous red holiday kettles for the poor to first responder tents at ground zero in New York City to food and water for earthquake victims in Haiti, the wide range of services provided by The Salvation Army anytime, anywhere for those in need is unequaled. The Salvation Army’s extensive social programs provide hope and, when disaster strikes, they are often on scene touching more than one million lives in Palm Beach County alone since 1922.

The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is a local expression of a worldwide movement that seeks redemption and rehabilitation of those it serves. The auxiliary functions as a fundraising and volunteer service group and has many projects and programs to satisfy an eagerness to volunteer. The purpose of the auxiliary is to raise public awareness of The Salvation Army, to facilitate services to the needy and to strengthen the financial base of the local Salvation Army.

Main Fundraising Event: Mar-a-Lago Holiday Snow Ball Date: Dec. 12, 2014 Location: The Mar-a-Lago Club, Palm Beach Description of Event: Reunite and make new friends at the season’s grandest opening gala, the Snow Ball! This fun-filled holiday fantasy features lavish white decor with snow, ice skaters, surprise live entertainment, cocktails and an exquisite sit-down dinner.
