Friends of Gumbo Limbo is the nonprofit fundraising and advisory arm of the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. Friends support a wide range of activities and opportunities for education, conservation and research of coastal and marine environments. Friends funds center exhibits, educational programs and the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility. Main Fundraising Event: Sea Coast Toast Date: Jan. 31, 2015 Location: Lakeside Terrace, Boca Raton Description of Event: The Sea Coast Toast evening offers a lakeside beer and wine reception, delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres and a varied silent auction.
