Road Trip One of our favorite dining havens in Fort Myers, Blue Coyote Supper Club, has branched out to Sanibel Island (239-427-9222). Great news for foodies: The new restaurant is open to the public. (the original location is a private, membersonly venue.) Located within the Sanibel Island Golf Club, the food is described as “Continental Drift Cuisine, American with a touch of French, Asian and South of the Border.” For lunch, try grouper tacos, salmon BLT or a Coyote Angus burger. In the evening, it’s a relaxing spot for cocktails and dinner. Signatures include the Kurobuta Coyote Chop and Blue Coyote Stew, a savory mix of scallops, shrimp and Andouille.
