ABODE O’Neil turned a low counter that was once a part of the kitchen into a fully functional bar and eating area.

Groupings of botanical prints framed in silver leaf flank the cabinet and echo the Provençal style prevalent across the home. In the master bedroom, O’Neil removed the columns from the arched niche and introduced fauxtextured wallpaper. A starburst mirror made of quartz and crystal is one of just a few wall hangings within the serene space. The bed boasts silk and linen fabrics, while the bench is topped with velvet in a demure shade of pink. The room overlooks the pool, where loungers in white Sunbrella fabrics await relaxation and sun worshipping. “Crisp whites make the landscape colors more brilliant,” O’Neil says in regards to the outdoor furniture and accessories. As a whole, this remodel strikes the perfect balance between soothing and sophisticated. O’Neil successfully ushered the property into the world of contemporary design while staying true to her personal philosophy that all homes should be timeless. “I love the feel of the old mixed with the new and try to stay away from trends so the home will look as beautiful 10 years from now as it does today.” «
