the West Palm Beach area south of Southern Boulevard to just past Forest Hill Boulevard along Georgia Avenue and South Dixie Highway—or the SoSo Design District if you will. These blocks have seen such an influx of design-based businesses, galleries, and restaurants in recent years that Chelsea Viau and Korinne Belock, owners of Chelsea Lane & Co. and Palm Beach Regency, respectively, came together to incorporate the SSDD as a designated neighborhood. In addition to the two design destinations mentioned above, the SSDD is also home to Caribe Home, an outdoor furniture resource, and Pure by Hive, a transitional furniture showroom from the Hive Collective empire. above: The inventory at the 5,000-square-

REALTY CHECK The recent groundbreaking and sales center opening for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, West Palm Beach signal things are moving on schedule for the luxury residential development. Located at 1717 North Flagler Drive, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, West Palm Beach is expected to be completed in 2028.
The 27-story waterfront tower will house 138 residences (priced from $2.7 million) with design bells and whistles that include custom Italian cabinetry, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances in the kitchens, and spa-like bathrooms furnished with Hansgrohe fixtures. “In just six months, we have driven over $150 million in sales,” says Nick Pérez, president of developer Related Group’s condo division. “The pace speaks volumes about buyers’ confidence in the thriving West Palm Beach market.” theresidenceswestpalmbeach.com
