Peconic Bay Medical Center has been chosen by Intuitive Surgical, makers of the da Vinci Si Surgical System, as the first Case Observation Site on Long Island for single incision robotic surgery, and one of only a few observation sites in the entire Northeast. The case observations will be hosted by PBMC’s own Dr. Agostino Cervone, one of Long Island’s most experienced Single Site general surgeons. Visiting surgeons from across the country will be able to watch and learn from Dr. Cervone in real time as he performs surgery and explains the leading-edge procedures in this breakthrough surgical technique.
