Best Business Person Mike Conklin, PostNet “It’s a compliment to the people who work with me – eight wonderful employees,” said Conklin. “Really, it’s mostly Crystal, Amber and Molly. PostNet is involved in lots of things — the Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity — we give them free services. No one has money to spend. “We have 10,000 customers annually — 100 to 150 daily. The Internet is making things very difficult. But people like to come in and get that attention — God willing. We’ve lost a lot of business to business accounts, what we haven’t lost is customers — maybe 2-3 percent.” Conklin moved to Payson in 2008 from Michigan. “I would never leave Payson. It’s the people. They show up to things like this — they support small businesses.
