City Life versus Country Life
Whether city is better than the countryside or visa–versa is an argumentative question. It depends upon the life situation of people whether they want to live and relax in a calm place, or they want to be among a big society. Generally, elders prefer country life while youths prefer to live in cities. Elders want a comfortable and simple life, whereas, youths want a professional life. Some similarities that are shared between them are the following: the same religion, government laws, customs, and low with high–level families. Even though, both city life and country life have some similarities shared between them, still there are some contrasts among them that separate city life from country life in many aspects.

In a city people have access to many different transportation systems and have latest technologies. Cities provide a variety of transportation services, such as regular bus lines, taxi services, metro lines, and many more; they also have access to latest technologies, such as cellular phones, internet, fax etc. These facilities make the life and daily activities comfortable for citizens. Although, there are countless groceries, stores, supermarkets, and pharmacies convenient to the homes of people, still some of the most trending companies provide online shopping. On the contrary, none of the mentioned facilities and technological advancements is available in countries. If they are available, however, they are in a very lower level. The people who live in the countryside use primary transportation since a long time ago; therefore, there are a small number of cars accessible in some of the villages. Moreover, there are only few shops, stores, and pharmacies available only in some of the

Urban Life vs Rural Life! People always wonder about the similarities and differences between living in the city and living in the countryside. The majority of people in the world now, prefer to live in cities rather than countrysides. It has been known for a long time that life in the country is different from life in the city. They both have their own advantages and disadvantages, regarding the way a person chooses to live in either of those places.
There are many reasons for living in the city, but the main reasons are entertainment, transportation, opportunities, and being able to experience ethnic diversity. The city provides huge shopping malls, beautiful resorts and amazing views. Time Square is another popular attraction, surrounded by huge buildings, glowing billboards and the amazing talented street performers making the city come to life. A very unique feeling that would probably be found only in a city. For those who do not go to the city for fun, are usually looking for a job. Cities are number one in employment, finding a job wouldn't be too hard because of the many people living there and of all the services needed. There has been many successful doctors, publishers, entrepreneurs, lawyers and architects. In a bustling sometimes, overpopulated city everything would need to be bunched up and close together. A city is always a way to receive a better opportunity. Colleges and schools are almost always successful and give bright, well–educated students amazing opportunities. A majority of the U.S.population lives in incorporated places or cities, although these areas only make up a small fraction of the U.S. land area, according to a new report released today by the U.S. Census Bureau. The percentage of the population living in cities in 2013 was highest in the Midwest and West at 71.2 percent and 76.4 percent, respectively. (TheUnited States Census Bureau, Us Census Bureau) Nevertheless, through advantages arise disadvantages. For example, cities also attract thieves, picket potters, gangs, and hackers. Thieves and picket potters have many targets. Gangs would easily blend in and avoid cops. Hackers are finding easier ways to hack individuals by one simple word. City life vs. Country life People say home is where the heart is, but what is home? For some, home is a place where they can sit on the front porch and drink sweet tea, while others see home as the place where they were raised. For me, home is where I have the most cherished memories. After living in thecity and the country, I have come tothe conclusion that life in the country is where my heart is. My lifestyle in the country consisted of similarities and differences than what it did in the city. What draws me more to country is the ability to enjoy the outdoor space, the quality time spent celebrating with family and friends, and learning the important life skills of scheduling your responsibilities wisely. There are a variety of activities you can do out in the country with...show more content...
There was a sufficient amount of room for everyone to fit comfortably without feeling crowded. While the adults talked and spent time together, the children would run around outside, swim in the pool, and play a variety of outdoor games. Parking during our celebrations was never an issue as there was enough clearance to park and maneuver around each others vehicles without parking on the street. My family and I didn't realize the advantages we had living on a significant amount of land until we moved to the city. In our new home, when my friends would come over, we never ventured out of the house like what we did in the country. Our yard was diminutive and if we did go outside, we had to be in the front yard and watch out for traffic. We quickly realized it would be beneficial to stay indoors and play cards, create challenges or find something productive to do inside. There is also an alternative option of exploring the amenities the city has to offer since we had more flexibility in our Get more content
City Living versus Country Living Many families and individuals find themselves at some point questioning the advantages of city living versus country living. It is nearly impossible to find a good answer to this question. What is good for one person might not be good for another. Some people enjoy the busy, hyper active metropolitancity where they can use all amenities and have unlimited opportunities for work and leisure. At the same time, other people feel the urge to be closer to Mother Nature, relaxation, beauty, and peace. They take pleasure in living in the calm and peaceful environment of the countryside and spending their free time fishing, hiking, picking berries in the woods, or playing in the creek. In my opinion, the nature...show more content...
On the positive side, urban areas do have better access to choices in healthcare if they suffer from an illness. They have a number of specialists to choose from in their area. However, stress seems to be present in every waking moment while living in the city. Whether you live next door to a train track or on a busy street, it can be the most expensive component of life in the city and it takes a toll on your body through time whereas rural areas are calm and peaceful most of the time. In the country, education for kids K–12 is a lot better than in the cities. Families with small children tend to like enrolling them in a smaller school because it's quiet and safe for their children, and the teachers are with the same children every day and for years sometimes. However, sending them to a bigger school can get them into the wrong kind of crowds and not get to know all their teachers because of the big diversity there is. In the country the ratio of students to the teacher is lower than the city whereas parents of children in the city have a number of choices available for the education. Children and can often select from a long list of both public and private school districts in urban living. Public schools are often filled with a lot of students and are packed into small classrooms however that help the sports team, music, and other elective programs out. Where on the downfall of smaller schools, there are less options but children are more able to make the Get more content
Everyone wants their piece of that good old "American Pie". Yes, we all want a chance or opportunity to go after our American Dreams. While pursuing these we must decide demographically where we plan to accomplish them at. Making the decision of whether it should be in the city or the country. Which should we prefer best? It is up to the individual to choose which one accurately fits the vision for their selves and their families. There are many factors a person, a couple or a family must consider when choosing between city living and country living. Pollution, crime, education, and entertainment are just a few to think about. City living has many disadvantages. Pollution is one key component in the environment of the city. In a recent article I read says, "High pollution levels are putting our health at risk." (Is Air Pollution in Cities Making Us Sick) Mobile sources of pollution are cars, buses, planes, trucks, and trains. Stationary sources of pollution are power plants, oil refineries, industrial facilities, and factors. Both Mobile and Stationary pollution sources are all a part of the city environment in a massive way. Experts warn pollution can have deadly effects on humans. Air pollution has been said to be one of the causes for premature deaths that increase by the year. In addition to the environment pollution one might want to look at the crime rate. Big city, violent crimes is what many to believe of the city. You may have greater chance of enduring
Country living vs. City living
The country and the city both offer a place to live, but the pollution, entertainment, crime and education; are all reasons why the country is a better place to live and raise a family. A country girl myself, I currently live in the city with my family, but I would give anything to raise my sons in the country. Although much can be learned in thecity, you cannot get that small town morale here nor the manners that come from being raised in a small southern town. Despite, there different locations the country has less pollution than the city on any given day. With far less freeways and highways to emit toxins and pollution into our air the country offers clean, breathable air and fresh winds from all the trees. In the city we sacrifice trees for highways and buildings. Both of which are harming our ozone layer and reducing our green air intact. The hustle and bustle on city freeways create high traffic and idle cars just sitting. This chaotic atmosphere cuts out time to get familiar with coworkers as one is always in a rush to get in and started on work. I would rather clean air and a stress free commute to work any day. Also, the ability to get into work in a timely manner and be able to converse with coworkers is a wonderful feeling. Besides, working with coworkers who are merely strangers could be another reason why work here is so stressful. Compared to the city, the country has far lesscrime and many feel comfortable leaving their doors
