Phat Mann PAUL MANN SIXTY-five

PhAt MAnn. Fun-loving, free-spirited fishing fAnAtics creAte perfection for the sport they love And the After-fishing celebrAtion of A greAt dAy. We almost didn’t get photographs of Phat Mann. Soon after she splashed, owners Mark and Amy Granville-Smith jumped aboard and Phat Mann was “gone fishing.” She has kept “lines in” almost from the day she was launched, and she has had billfish up almost from the time she reached the fishing grounds. Mark spared nothing to create a superb fishing vessel; she is as perfectly equipped and set up as any vessel anywhere, period. And with her funloving, enthusiastic owners, Phat Mann will not stay at the dock often. She may visit her owners’ second home and dock in Islamorada. More likely you’ll find her fishing the lumps, around the Bahamas, off Isla Mujeres or trolling for the win at the Big Rock or Pirate’s Cove. And if you do see her on one of those rare lay days, if you are lucky, you may have a chance to say hello or even trade a story with some of the funnest people you’ll ever meet. Amy may even explain how Phat Mann only started out as Mark’s boat. Now it’s hers!
