The Working World Bazaar is a revolutionary way to design, make, and distribute clothing to achieve the highest fashion in factories that workers own themselves, all while being gentle on the environment. The Working World does this by breaking apart the traditional apparel behemoth, and instead brings together young, independent design artists directly with clothing factories that are run fairly by the workers themselves. The Working World then brings these products to market as an easy to use, open ended distributor, neither squeezing down wages nor stifling creativity. All this is done with a continuing effort to use environmentally friendly manufacturing techniques and materials, like our organic cottons. And on top of it all, 100% of Working World profits are donated to their microcredit fund which goes to help grow the same factories we make our clothes in. Don’t miss the new wave. Design
Pauline products are designed and made with the utmost attention to detail, with each stitch and fold handcrafted by artisans. The challenge we’ve talked is not small: to make products with cutting edge fashion and unyielding quality which are affordable and fair trade. Our shoes are made with silvered and golden leathers and organic cotton canvas. The insole is of folded cotton linens and original patterned fabrics. Each pair comes inside a bag matching the insole with a small pouch of aromatic lavender.
