Fleet Financial adds fresh drive to

construction sector growth

eading Contract Hire and Vehicle Management Company, Fleet Financial is behind a new drive after backing the Construction Employers Federation (CEF) to become an approved new Patron of the largest representative body for the construction industry in Northern Ireland. Celebrating its 20th successful year in business in 2016, Fleet Financial already represents more than a thousand local businesses across a variety of sectors, and individuals, and this latest initiative formalises its commitment to assist in strengthening the local construction industry. The Construction Employers Federation represents over 800 companies as members, ranging from micro businesses employing just a handful of people to

some of the largest construction companies in Northern Ireland. In total, CEF member companies account for over 70% of all construction output in Northern Ireland. Fleet Financial joins leading industry names including Danske Bank, Carson McDowell and JP Corry in the CEF’s official Patronage Scheme, which brings organisations from a range of sectors together to support the industry with expertise and guidance. members and the wider economy and are excited to have the backing of Fleet Financial for the future.” Based in Mallusk, Fleet Financial employs more than 30 staff and has more than a thousand customers driving 4,100 vehicles ranging from cars to light commercial vans. Clients include some of Northern Ireland's best-known companies in construction, utilities, agri-food and distribution such as Gilbert Ash, McLaughlin and Harvey, Phoenix Gas, Sky, SHS Group and Dale Farm, as well as small firms with fewer than 10 employees As part of its 20-year celebrations, Fleet Financial helped to raise more than £30,000 for Hope for Youth NI, a charity which helps young people in Northern Ireland, particularly those from disadvantaged areas.
