We are a creative studio and production company. We create and develop content for commercial advertising, digital and interactive platforms, feature films and film marketing, television, architectural spaces, and global brands.

Since 1996, we have told many stories, pushed many boundaries, and entertained many audiences through our work, and we believe we’ve become better with each new collaboration. Our family is made up of over 70 artists and creative professionals: directors, designers, writers, animators, editors, and producers, working in studios in Los Angeles and New York City.

Movies: Marvel studios intro refresh and original, Marvel Comics, Dc Comics intro, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, Twilight Eclipse, Real Steel, Pacific Rim, Terminator Salvation, 21 Jump Street, 500 Days of Summer. Experience design: Victoria’s Secret, The World Trade Memorial, Natural History Museum, MTV VMA 2011, Mercedes Benz, Lexus IS, LA City Museum. Commercials: The Transformer Ride 3D, Firestone, Nike, McDonalds, IBM, Kohler, Microsoft, Carmax, Smirnoff: Blueberry, Walgreens, Target, The walking dead/ Hyundai, Toyota, Mazda.


Charles Khoury (Middle): Charles honed his craft at Notre Dame University in Beirut before earning an MFA in Media Design from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan.

Dan Gregoras (Bottom Left): The newest director on the Imaginary Forces’ roster, Dan has taken the company by storm. A highly skilled visual and fine artist, Dan is also a director and designer. He began his career illustrating jet engines, eventually evolving into an exceptional visual storyteller and extremely talented animator. Dan makes things. Real things. Like furniture-real. Being the well-trained jiu-jitsu master that he is, Dan could also destroy said furniture with one swift kick.

Grant Lau (Top Left): Before joining Imaginary Forces in 1997, Grant owned and designed an alternative clothing line and co-founded an alternative clothing show in San Diego. His motion graphic work include tour visuals for DJs Sasha and Digweed, as well as cover art for a DJ Sasha record. Grant has directed numerous broadcast projects including the overall show and broadcast package for the MTV Video Music Awards and projects for Nike, Reebok and Sony. Grant’s creative vision extends across many platforms and includes a trailer for Starhawk – Sony’s newly released game for PlayStation. Grant earned an Emmy for his main title design for Exxon-Mobil Masterpiece Theatre's American Collection and his work on MTV's Virtual Laguna Beach also won him recognition from the Emmy's for the brand new category "Outstanding Achievement in Advanced Media Technology for Creation of Non Traditional Programs or Platforms.”

Michelle Dougherty (Bottom right): Michelle Dougherty is a native of Mexico City but was raised in Los Angeles. She started painting at an early age and by drawing inspiration from fine art, fashion, and music, found herself at the Art Center in Pasadena, CA studying graphic design. Here, her love for design evolved to include motion and typography. Michelle has enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with the leading artists, animators, directors, and producers in the industry. She earned an Emmy nomination in 2002 for the main title sequence for the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers. Her work has been recognized by the AIGA and featured in numerous publications including Communication Arts, Step Inside Design, HOW, and Creativity.


New Tech: From their Facebook page they seem to be working on something to do with the Oculus Rift DK2 Device. The Oculus was created in 2014 as a kickstart program then it sky rocketed to the top wanted devices raising 2.4 million.
