Thisyear'sswagbasketincludesasportfitT-shirtandaflannelpicnicblanketwithawater-resistantbackingforthoseoutingson dampgrass.WearealsoincludingsomeDirtyKilnstickers.TheT-shirt,blanketandstickerswillfeatureanupdatedlogoforDirtyKiln -somethingnewtoaddtoyourcollectionforpastparticipants.Also,thetopthreeoverallfinishersbygenderforeachrace(12awards inall)willgetaspecialhandmademugfromPottersStationinJohnstown.

Wegotyouhookeduppre-andpost-race.Theracedaymenuincludesfresh,farm-to-tablehamburgersandhotdogswithmac'n cheesefromDNDFamilyFarmsinMartinsburg.Ifmeatisnotyourthing,wewillhaveveganfarefromMayfieldsinHollidaysburg
StandingStoneCoffeeCompanywillbeservingcoffeeandsmoothies--ONUS--torunnersandvolunteers.Post-race,Furrer BeverageandAlleghenyTrailrunnersisproudtopresentBaldBirdsBrewingCompany.Thisyear,thebiergartenwillbepositioned soyoucanenjoyyourbeveragewhilecheeringonyourfriendsatthefinish.

DirtyKilnTrailRaceisApril8anditisalsoEasterWeekendandyoucan'tgothroughtheweekendwithouthavinganEasterEggHunt. WewillbeplacingEasterEggsthroughoutthecourse;pickoneupandclaimitatthefinishpavilionforAlleghenyTrailrunnersmerch.

Unlikesomeeventswheresafetyisasadafterthought,everythingwedoistokeepourparticipantsinmind.Thatsaid,Hollidaysburg EMSandGeesytownFireandRescueisonhand,Hamradiooperatorswillkeeptrackwhererunnersareonthecourse,wehavea dedicatedmedicalcooridinatoronstaff,andastellerteamofvolunteersatwatercrossings,trailmarshalsandsweeperswillkeep accountofeveryone.Weestablishedasetofcriteriawhenandwhennottoincorporatethetwostreamcrossingswitharerouted coursethatcanbeswitchedinamomentsnotice.
