His passion for your life

I cry to you, and You don’t answer Me.”

Jesus, the Word, Who was with God, and is God before all time (John 1:1), believed for the first time He was separated from His Father. It was the most painful experience that He ever encountered.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (John 10:10,11)

The Passion, or suffering, of Christ was designed with the Divine purpose of rescuing you and I from the grip of sin and death, to give us life. To give us the Fathers’ eternal life.

In Philippians 2:8 we see where Jesus became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. What does this mean, “The death of the Cross?” In Galatians 3:13 the Word of God says that Jesus redeemed us by becoming a curse for us, for it is written; cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.

The death of the Cross-means: “Becoming a Curse.”

If you would read Psalm 22:1-21 you would be able to see, through the descriptive words of the Holy Spirit, what happened to Jesus while He was being made a curse on the Cross. From the start we see the deceptive perception of separation from God that sin embeds within our heart. Jesus cried out; “My God, My God why have you forsaken Me? You are so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says; “For He hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” Jesus Christ was made sin in His heart and body. He took on the deception of sin in His heart He suffered the judgment of sin and purchased our freedom! This is the Passion of the Christ!

While Jesus suffered being made sin, demons tortured Him, every type of sickness, disease, mental torment, and every other form of death, laid waste to His person.

In Isaiah 52:14 we see what it means to be made a curse: “Just as many were amazed over Him and princes on His account shuddered, were astonished and appalled, amazed and frightened. His visage was so marred, unlike to a man and His form unlike to the son of man, so deformed was His appearance not to be a man and His figure no longer resembled a man.”

Sin, and the result of sin disfigured Jesus so much that you could not even tell that He was a man. As Jesus absorbed the sin of all mankind, His mind and body were so tormented and disfigured that the princes shuddered and were frightened at His appearance. This was not a normal crucifixion. It was the act of becoming sin, and the judgment of all our sins as well. Jesus bore the sin penalty for all of us.

Romans 5:12 declares: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

At the time of Adam's transgression, a law entered our world, called the law of sin and death. Because of this transgression, sin has now been passed upon all of us.

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU SHALL BE SAVED.”

(Romans 10:9-10)

continued page 4

This is the only reason death is a part of our lives. You see this Law of Sin bound us in a prison of death! We were eternally separated from God.

Sin holds us in bondage, but Grace made a way for us to be free.

Romans 5:19, & 21 says; “For as by one man’s disobedience many we made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal LIFE by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus came and through His obedient redemptive work of the cross, stepped in and said, “STOP! I died for them, let them live, and be FREE!

Glory to God! That was the purpose for the Passion of Christ! The Bible says that He endured the Cross-for the joy that was set before Him. The Father revealed to Jesus, that They would gain you, me, and all who would believe, if He would complete the work of the Cross, if He would endure the passion, the suffering of being made the curse!

(Isaiah 53:9-10). That was the reason He went. He went for you! He went for me!

His passion didn’t just stop there at the cross. The obedience of the Passion brought into this world a liberating force! Romans 6:4 declares, “. . .that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, . . .”

Christ was raised up by the liberating Presence of the Father! Jesus is alive today by the resurrection power of the Father.

Christ’s PASSION perfectly satisfied the judgment of sin, which is death, and released the Glory of the Father into the earth!

Romans 6:9 states “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more, death hath no more dominion over him.”

The personal presence of the Father did not leave Jesus in death, but He raised Him up victorious and free and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places. He placed Him far above all principality, and power, above every name that is named not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. (Ephesians1: 20-21).

A new law was enforced that negated the laws that governed sin and death! Romans 8:2 declares “ the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me FREE from the law of sin and death.”

It is the Law of the Spirit of Life that has brought freedom!

This Law of the Spirit that raised Jesus up from the dead, has been released into the world.

Look at Romans 6:4 again, “. . .that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

We can NOW walk in this newness of life in complete freedom! The day we accept and believe in the Passion of Christ and confess Jesus as Lord, we become a partaker of God's Resurrection life through the Law of the Spirit!

You would think that miracles, signs, and wonders would be enough to enable us to believe in Christ’s ability to free us! But just believing in His ability is not enough. Christ had to become sin, die, and then be raised up by the glory of the Father to grant us a door to our freedom! We needed to believe He did it!

Jesus purposely went to the Cross- and endured the PASSION! He endured the horrific pain, the mental anguish, the rejection, and torment to make you FREE, and to give you LIFE! Jesus died to make you alive. He was rejected so that you would be accepted. He was made sin with your sin, to make you righteous with His righteousness. He became sick, to make you healthy. He became poor, to make you rich. He became weak to make you strong. He suffered shame to give you glory. He was condemned and went to Hell, to send you to heaven. He gave His life as the only begotten Son, to make you an adopted son of the Father. He left His Fathers presence, to place you by His Father’s side.

1 John 5:12 states that He who has the Son, HAS LIFE Do you have the Son? The time is now to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead! Do this and begin experiencing the power and FREEDOM that has come through THE PASSION OF JESUS today!

JESUS PRAYED THAT WE WOULD COME TOGETHER TO REACH THE WORLD.

“That they shall be as one; as Thou, Father art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: THAT THE WORLD MAY BELIEVE that Thou hast sent Me.” (John 17:21)

WE ARE COMMITTED TO HEALING HEARTS

To Be "A Voice of Freedom." (John 8:31-32).

To "Heal the Brokenhearted" (Luke 4:18)

Rory heard from the Lord that Luke 4:18 was his mission in this life. “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor, He has anointed me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the

captives to set at liberty them that are bruised to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Rory was called by the God to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. As Rory sought the Lord and applied the Word of God, he began experiencing His heart changing and God’s provision manifesting in his life in supernatural ways.

Throughout his time at RBTC, Rory learned firsthand how Gods’ Anointed Word heals and forms faith in your heart to live free in the Kingdom of God.

Upon graduating RBTC in June of 1996, Rory moved to southern MN and launched the ministry of RSMI. Through a series of events that should have destroyed his life and his family, the revelation of Jesus healing the brokenhearted saved and transformed him. This empowered his passion to take this message to as many people as possible.

The revelation of the heart, and how the heart operates, is central in living a victorious life of faith in Christ. Rory is committed to ministering to your heart, to assist you in receiving healing from God, to form faith, and to live in freedom in every area of your life.

Rory and Amelia understand the Biblical view of partnership. It is a joining together of hearts, resources, and visions to accomplish His will in the earth. As you partner with RSMI, Rory, Amelia and our entire staff are committed to you. We will pray for your healing, freedom, prosperity, and victory, and always give you a timely Word from the Lord to heal your heart.

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by being made a curse for us as it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”. (Gal 3:13)

Jesus became our substitute and redeemed us from the whole curse of the law. The curse, and how Jesus redeemed us, basically consisted of three parts.

Scripture clearly tells us so. He paid the price you couldn’t pay so that you can be rich. He took the curse of poverty for you and He paid the price. Second Corinthians 8:9 says, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”

This scripture can only mean that Jesus was the substitute for your poverty. He was the propitiation for that part of the curse of the law for you. It means that though He was so very rich (in heaven), yet for our sakes Jesus became like us (poor), so that we could become like Him (rich, enriched, and abundantly supplied)!

One time I heard a preacher say, “I don’t want to use the word ‘rich.’ I’m just going to say, ‘doing well.’” Is it wrong to quote the Bible? Some denominations don’t want to use the word “blood” because they’re afraid it’s offensive. Other denominations don’t want to use the word “rich” because it’s offensive. Who decides which words we take out of the Bible and which ones we don’t?

The curse: 1) Spiritual death

2) Sickness and disease. 3) Poverty.

The redemption: 1) Eternal life (Hebrews 9:12)

2) Health and healing (1 Peter 2:24)

3) Prosperity (2 Corinthians 8:9)

Unfortunately, many people stop after one third of the curse has been broken in their life. Jesus paid the price to break the entire curse of the law, which included poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. We are good at telling people they need to become spiritually alive. We even tell them that when Jesus died on the cross, He became a curse and because He was cursed,we’re not cursed anymore.

Why stop there? What about the curse of sickness and disease? What about the curse of poverty? He became our substitute in those things, too. The

I believe if you are healthy, spiritually alive and you’ve got some money in the bank, you can do more for the Gospel than if you’re lying on your back in a hospital with a dead spirit and you’re dead broke.

The devil does not want you living the Gospel. The Scripture says, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8).

What are the works of the devil? In John 10:10, Jesus tells us, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” Sounds like the curse of the law to me.

The devil wants to kill you. He wants you spiritually dead. He wants to steal from you. He wants to destroy your body. The devil wants you to live under the curse. Jesus shed His blood so you wouldn’t have to live under the curse.

THE WORD IS A SWORD

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. (Hebrews 4:12).

Strange that Jesus would have a sword in His mouth and not in His hand!

This two-edged sword, although it presents the picture of a literal sword, is wielded quite differently. “Two-edged" from the Greek, literally means “twomouthed”. So, in addition to the comparison of God’s word to the power of a sword, this scripture in Hebrews reveals the power of this sword comes from something spoken from the mouth!

The word “quick” here is from a Greek word that means “alive” or “active.” Some translations use the word living (NKJ), or alive and active (NIV) in this verse. The word is alive with power, continuing to be effective at all times. It has the power to accomplish amazing results in our lives and circumstances. No wonder the enemy of our soul tries so hard and so often to keep us from reading, meditating and speaking out God’s word!

The verse goes on to say that this “sword” is able to divide soul from spirit, joints from marrow and to discern the thought and intents of the heart. “Discern” here is used in the sense of passing judgment. The word of God is able to bring thoughts and intentions of the heart into sharp examination. Do my thoughts and intentions line up with God’s truth?

When we read and meditate on the word of God it can challenge us. Often it seems “upside down” compared to the world’s way of thinking. Luke 6:27 (Love your enemies and those who despitefully use you) and Romans 12:20 (If your enemy is hungry, feed him) come to mind! That is not “normal” in the eyes of the world!

How is this word like a two-edged sword? We see this same phrase in the book of Revelation where John records the vision he had of Jesus. He states that Jesus “had in His right hand seven stars and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword.”

In our Bibles, when we see “word,” it is often from the Greek “rhema”, which is something that is spoken, and includes the thoughts. It can also refer to the Word Himself, Jesus Christ. Generally we could say that the word is an expressed thought. The word of God is an expressed thought coming out of the mouth of God.

When we are praying, God’s thoughts can begin to rise up from the word of God that we have hidden in our hearts (Psalm 119:11); a Bible verse seems to suddenly surface in our thoughts. Often that word is so sharp, it cuts right through questions or situations we are praying about!

When that word rises up within us and we begin to meditate on it, it releases power on the inside. Suddenly we need to declare that word out loud for ourselves. As we declare God’s rhema word, it now becomes a “twomouthed” sword.

First it came as a word from the “mouth” of God delivered to us on the inside; and now it comes out from our mouth delivered to the outside. This can be a declaration spoken out in our own prayer time or extend to giving a testimony to others.

Thus it becomes a two-mouthed sword that is living and powerful in our lives just as it has been for believers for centuries. It is a continual source of divine power, living and active in the lives of all God’s children who will avail themselves of the treasure that is His word.

“In our Bibles, when we see “word,” it is often from the Greek “rhema”, which is something that is spoken, and includes the thoughts. It can also refer to the Word Himself, Jesus Christ. Generally, we could say that the word is an expressed thought.”

JESUSSAVEDYOU

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU SHALL BE SAVED.”

(Romans 10:9-10)

If you believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and rose again, you can receive your salvation, & know that you’re going to heaven.

Just simply pray this prayer from your heart, and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior today.

FATHER GOD, I HAVE SINNED, & I NEED YOUR HELP. I BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR SON & THAT HE DIED ON THE CROSS FOR MY SIN. I BELIEVE THAT YOU RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD.

I OPEN MY HEART TO JESUS AND CONFESS HIM AS MY LORD & SAVIOR. FROM THIS DAY FORWARD I WILL FOLLOW HIM. THANK YOU, FATHER, FOR SAVING ME AND GIVING ME ETERNAL LIFE. IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

)

King jesus

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

(John 11:25-26)

Come on now, that's some "GOOD NEWS"!

The whole purpose of the Gospel is Jesus' birth, His suffering for you and me, His death, and His RESURRECTION! That's what we as Christians celebrate not only during April but all year long, what Jesus did on the cross, bringing us back to the Father!

Without these events the Bible would just be another story. Jesus said in the book of John “You will know the truth and the truth shall set you free” (John 8:32). If Christ was not raised from the dead the Bible would be just a story filled with false promises and powerless to save those who believe. I don't know about you but I'm glad that it is the TRUTH of God’s Word that has made me free. Sixty-six books of power and promises!

So, what does this mean? After sin entered this world, we could be best described as broken, our hearts became broken, sinful and separated (from the life of God). The resurrection of Jesus and the importance of that reminds us that our relationship with God changed forever.

As believers, we have realized that God is the Word, and in the beginning, He created all things. He loved us so much that He became flesh and dwelt among us. The disciples saw His glory as the only Son from the Father full of grace and truth. John testified about Him and said, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who is coming after me has proved to be my superior, because He existed before me.” All who believe that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead will be saved! There is no other way to be saved outside of Jesus.

IT'S TIME TO MAKE JESUS THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE!

KING JESUS

This is a time of joy, it's our Kings Resurrection. But it’s also a time of reflection of what Jesus had to endure.

I don't know about you but to me that’s worth fighting for.

He carried that cross UPON that hill where His blood was shed

'Father not my will but yours be done' He said, You bore my pain and wore my shame sinless and blameless yet you took the blame. There's something much heavier than the cross You bore, It must have pierced deeper than the crown of thorns You wore.

You thought you were smitten of God and forsaken too That's when my sin came between the Father and You.

Whip after whip and lash by lash each sin You paid as all of our sins upon You were laid.

Then, 'It is finished,' in victory You cried as You bowed Your head upon the cross and died.

3 days later on that very day Behold! They found

THEMSELVES STARING AT an empty tomb.

Where have they taken Jesus? THEY must have PONDERED.

Until The angels said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?

"Jesus is not here! He is risen "

Praise God! Our Savior arose!

Yes, He is alive forever more!

If you've never accepted Him, He's knocking at your heart's door. Let Him in, KING JESUS, Because You hung there, in our place. Because Your blood upon the altar was shed. Because of You, I am now free.

All Because

You chose the road to CALVARY
